iOS 14.5 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Green tint not fixed on my 12 Pro Max.

EDIT: Raised blacks are fixed, doing the backlight bleed test at any brightness percentage show a complete black screen, from 0 to 100%. However green tint is still there at low (less than 10% brightness)

Edit 2: Device Type is back in Bluetooth settings

Install finished! To answer my own question...nope. Nothing wallpaper related.

Someone above has already mentioned new swipe gestures in music. I'm liking that already!
 
Empty text box/ app tray flash issue, still not fixed in Beta 2. Go into messages, click on the message thread and before you can type the keyboard/app tray will flash. Doesn’t happen every time but happens very often!

No issue here. Tried multiple times.
 
Is audio stuttering for anyone? Repeatedly, every few seconds, for a second or two. Then continues.
 
I had an issue* whereby a translation shortcut I'd created would not work if run from a widget on my iPhone 11.

This has been fixed in this beta.

* At the end of my shortcut, it speaks out the text in the translated-to language. If I ran the shortcut from within Shortcuts it would work fine. If I ran it from a widget (or homescreen link) it would fail at the speech part. Weirdly, the same shortcut sync'd using iCloud, would work on my 6S. Only on the 11 did it fail.

I had that since iOS 14 Release. And then fixed in 14.5 beta 1. I’d be quite annoyed if it’s back.

That's interesting because I've been having the stuttering issue with my Airpods Max and thought it was the APM's, I didn't consider that it may be iOS that was the issue.
 
The OTA download is veerrry slow for me, been downloading for around 30 minutes now, still claims it’s going to be another hour.
 
Can someone please check whether the problem with CarPlay is resolved in Fords? Since downloading the first beta it hasn’t worked.

I'm having that issue on the Home Screen as well as in the WWE Network app on my Apple TV4K using my HomePods as a stereo pair. Watching TV or movies through HBO Max or Hulu. as well as YouTube, the sound is fine.

Just the menus and WWEN.

I'm hoping this new beta fixes that.
