It’s bazaar right. I didn’t even know you needed certain settings on, reading apple terms and conditions does not interest me 🤣, for it to work. Only checked it was when you guys mentioned it…. And was like WHAAAAAT.

but then I still don’t understand how some peoples iMessage bar disappears and others don’t. maybe they do these little quirks to get us motivated and a drive on for the next big iOS.
I believe you. It just threw me off after prior reading the requirements. LOL. I was able to get it to work, sort of. It charges to 80 and holds but not always at 100 when I wake up. Definitely needs refinement.
Battery life seems to be a little better than last week, but still draining quicker than man city ever winning a champions league final. 😜

All I want in 14.7 is for it to make my phone stop automatically setting all songs to repeat when I am in my car. I’m considering installing the beta just to see if this issue is fixed.
happens to me on CarPlay on 14.7 as well and I have not even noticed until you just pointed it out
Wow, I thought that was just a side effect of my older head unit. What a joke. Come on, Apple, if I want repeat I will put it on repeat.

for me I don’t need these things to be on unless going abroad, as stated in my original post, so your individual uses I can’t account for. Common sense people 🙏🏼

What the hell is going on, starting to turn into samsung phones, where we have to turn off everything to get decent battery life and they still get trash battery life 😂🥺

😆 it’s more that your phone has turned on by default a few redundant system settings that use up battery and you don’t need them on.
do your own research though, what you need to use.
Not paying Timmy boy big bucks so I can do my own research, if I wanted to do that I'd buy a Samsung phone and spend a week disabling everything. 😜😂
I could never get it to work until I followed this document. Then it worked as expected and has been every since. (For what its worth)
Same. My signal randomly resets more often now. At least 5 times daily. You’ll be doing something and boom your signal goes into searching mode and then comes back. Annoying this issue hasn’t been fixed after all these years. I really had high hopes it was just a intel modem only issue.
On my 2019 GTI, if the radio's bluetooth connects to my phone before CarPlay activates, it will set it to all-repeat. If I plug in my phone and then start the car, it stays at not-repeat..

thank you for validating it. i go from 5G to LTE and back. Places at my house where i had 5G all the drops even going from inside at 5G to LTE outside. I'm hoping for a new beta today.
