It feels like the back of my iPhone SE2 is now much cooler when using it.
My 12 pro max feels warmer 🤦‍♂️😂

Not affecting performance though.

Battery life down by a hour, guess it’ll improve in the next few days, took phone off the charger as soon as the update was installed.

Smart battery case fixed yet?
My Smart Battery Case does indeed seem to function correctly now, draining first before the internal phone battery! However, both battery symbols still don’t show up on the Lock Screen when charging like they used to, though they are both seen correctly by the battery widget. Definitely a step in the right direction.

Public is out? No?
iOS 15 has not been released to the public beta channel at this time. It is only Dev for now. Without trying to speculate, in the past, usually dev beta 3 would be the first build that launches to the public as a beta release. This is purely looking at past major releases.

Why don't I have a green tint though? Can I have a screenshot of the effect?
I don't have this issue either so I cannot say this for certain but I don't think this issue can be shown in a screenshot because although Apple is advising it is "software." It is affecting the physical display, not just a iOS setting. As for why some have this and some do not, there has been speculation that it could be either a bug only affecting some phones, a batch of faulty displays, or an issue where some phones are not able to adequately cool themselves down enough. The last point is based on the iphone 11 green tint issue on iOS 13 that was later resolved. It had to do with a temperature condition.

Thanks

Good to know.

Anyone had a chance to test Podcasts in this version?

It's a terrible app at the best of times, but the battery drain/overheating/playback bugs on iOS 14.6 made it unusable.

Hi! Is there a way to download the iOS 14.7 Beta Profile anymore? I want to try the PB out but unfortunately the beta page shows iOS 15 beta as the only available profile. Any help? Thanks!

I am hoping there are others that can look but as far as the official apple public beta site, looks like you are right. I too, only have access to get the profile for iOS 15. I can only assume this but it would appear that iOS 14.7 is nearing the end of its beta cycle since the option to enroll in the iOS 14 PB is not available.

Yeah, it does look like it… too bad, I really can’t stand 14.6 anymore. My iPhone 12 is getting hotter to touch every day

Performance in this is beta seems good in terms of speed and stability with one exception.

Battery life seems depleted, I’ve used my phone a reasonable amount in the last 24 hours and is definitely down compared to Beta-4.

I had to charge it by about 14:00 today.

There’s certain websites out there that you can find it on if you’re so minded.

(I’m not using one)

Is there any diffrent from this to 14.6 apart from changing timers in home app is there any reason to update from 14.6?

If you can't screenshot it, then it's not a software issue, but a hardware issue.
That actually is not true at all. There are plenty of issues where software can control the hardware in a way that is not idea, or problematic. Think of it like this;

When talking about Computers in general, depending on temperature, the fan speed(PWM) is usually controlled by either the OS, or the software in the motherboard. If the software has a bug, the fans may act weird.

Now look back at an ultra-compact device without any air ventilation. If the OS is not controlling the cooling unit properly, undesirable effects can occur.

As a general rule, when it comes to getting a screenshot of anything, it has to be either an option, or normal operation. If the screen is looking green by some back process issue, the screenshot may not be possible. Same way as to why you typically can't screenshot a crash when everything fails.
