i compared my iphone 12 PM with a 12P and it's definetly whiter than before. The same happened to a friend.
Not with me that’s strange for me it’s exactly the same, I doubt they would of changed the screen temp but maybe upload a photo to show it

I don't know if this is new in 14.7 beta or if it's been around longer than this but opening Apple Music today I got a splash screen asking me if I wanted to turn on notifications for new music releases by artists whose music I've already downloaded.

Okay so this is the first build of iOS since 14.5.1 that I’m noticing what I would describe as obviously better battery life.

I was on the 14.6 betas, 14.6 stable, been on most of the 14.7 betas, all of have them have been really middling and not much different since the initial hit that 14.5.1 brought.

I know it’s only been out a day, but this is easily the best battery day I’ve had since before 14.5.1

EDIT: In fact I’m almost determined to just remain on this build until 15.0 final comes out, I’ve learned my lesson about just casually installing public iOS releases. The only reason I’ve been on the beta train at all was because of the battery issue.

Yep, looks fine now, some people have said that green tint did comeback for them after a while. 😳

Oops wrong thread, I’m on iOS 15 🤦‍♂️😂
I hate to say it but at this point, if it happens again, might be a good excuse to get an upgrade. Of course, apple would like that, but if it solves the issue, better off for both parties. So far I have not had the issue on my 12 pro. It is just over 3 months old, so not a long time but hasn't come up yet. *fingers crossed*

A free upgrade to a iPhone 13 🤔 I like the way you think. 😃😂

Hi guys,

It seems that this beta breaks the new « year_month » folders photo sort in windows explorer. It has been restored to « 101 Apple » folders.

Can you confirm ?

Thanks

I am not sure about your use of the word “breaks”.

However I can confirm that beta 5 is using the folder name format of 101Apple, 102Apple etc.

Since updating I have been getting horrible battery life on my AW series 6. 14.7 beta on the 12pm and 7.5 on the watch. I end the day about 20% lower than usual. Phone battery seems fine but I leave it plugged in most of the day.

Hi GBstoic,

I mean « goes back to ».

Beta 4 was using « 07_2021 » folder names etc… beta 5 is back to 101Apple…

I updated to 14.7 last night from 14.6 hoping to see improvements in battery life and Bluetooth. So far my iPhone 11 has lost only 12% since being off the charger since 7am which is a huge improvement. Haven't tested BT yet.

Was getting really fed up with the battery drain and Bluetooth not connecting seamlessly, especially with phone as key function for my car.

The beta 4 thread is still pinned or sticky or whatever it’s called. This one isn’t. Nobody cares about 14.7 anymore….

Finally pinned, yay! Right before RC releases, lol!
Yeah, I reported the first post of the beta 4 thread to the administrators and asked them to make this one sticky instead. Not sure whether that was correct procedure but it worked.
