Beta 2 has not fixed my issue of apps not staying in the dock.

Not facing such an issue, you can either do a fresh install or reset home screen layout.

Is the weather widget working for anyone? It‘s blank for me, no matter what location I set.

On HomePod, you can now select primary music services! Spotify isn't listed as an option, as I presume they must update the app first?

Services can span music, podcasts, and audiobooks.

I would say it needs app update, same as the ability to change default apps for email on iOS.

The Calendar and Clock icons have changed. I think the hands on the clock app were thinner before and the day in the calender wasn‘t abbreviated before.

Yea, they are fatter on beta 2

I dig the changes to the clock. Not so much on the Calendar icon. Almost too minimalist now but not having Wednesday crammed in there tomorrow will probably change my mind.

I'm still surprised that all my apps keep working on my iPad. The only apps preventing me from running the beta on the iPhone 11 Pro are the banking apps. If those start working, then I'll take the plunge on my phone too.

Out of interest when upgrading at the end of the beta cycle do we just stay on the GM? Or is there a way to install the standard public release over the last beta?

You can stay on the GM (unless of course it is not the released version). Or, if you want to get off the beta train, just remove the profile. If the GM is the same build as the release version, you'll just stay on that. if its a different build, you'll get that when its released to the public

I definitely see some Skeumorphism on the clock icon.

Speaking of clocks, it this widget available yet?

You'll automatically get the GM.
