Many thanks !! I have just tested it and is great, does what the Files app should do. I will buy the business version as well.
I also purchased FileBrowser BIz a year or two ago. It has evolved lots and works great. It also ironically works with Files App LOL.
Latest versions work great ou can have multiple tabs at top, navigate through folder structure, and even drag and drop.

Stuff like this is what really holds the iPad back from being a "Mac replacement". I know people are able to find workarounds, third-party apps, new workflows... but it's not great that you have to do all this to get work done. It's a shame, because the hardware is amazing and more than sufficient for a lot of people's computer needs. But to me even with all its new features, iPadOS still feels like a supersized phone OS.

I agree, it’s fsckin s[-]!tty select files to delete, then go into deleted files folder aka trash there’s nothing in there, swipe down to refresh nothing, back and navigate other folders then back to deleted files folder, again nothing, close the app re-open, nothing WTF... 2 hours later maybe they show up...

While I share a lot of the criticism about Apple’s Files app, this is something I never had. What iPhone/iPad and iOS/iPadOS version are you on?

6th Gen iPad, its been the same issue on every iOS since Files.app arrived on. Now im on iPadOS14.4...

Sorry, would anybody recommended an alternative that is free ? I have been testing some but they are overcomplicated. Documents has too many features and I am just looking for a simple file browser with Cloud support for Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. I dont need an embedded web browser, or PDF editor, or anything like that. Many thanks.
FE File Explorer
