How can I config the app switching bar? I feel is far more slow in 15.1, is there any way to change settings for that? I´m talking about slide left and right.. thanks

My Calendar app still stutters and is general PITA to use as long as I have a subscription to a published .ical calendar. :(

Our WiFi speed dropped 25% on 15.2 b1 on all 3 of my devices. It has not dropped on my MBP. I tried resetting network settings to no avail. Wife is on 14.8 and gets full speed.

How it is behaving on the Xr / A12 anyone?

I’m scarred by how bad 15.0 was on it & I don’t want to lose a route back to 14.8.

Still on 14.8 here, waiting for the same reason, I hope this update brings some stability to A12 devices
So what exactly is wrong with 15 on the XR? I am running 15.1 (not this beta) but is seems to be the same as 14.8 to me. Don't remember 15.0 being that bad or unstable either.

Experiencing this too. Getting 150mbps compared to up to 550 mbps previously on WiFi and noticed higher ping/jitter on cellular and lower download speed less than 10 mbps using eSIM in some locations. Reset network settings and same result too. Tested using same server and same location during off peak times.

So beta 1 seems generally off the mark.

Well, App Privacy Report is already snitching on some offenders, so to speak.

SoundHound made 9 network connections to domains such as facebook, midomi.com, googleapis.com, localytics.com, and their own soundhound.com, right around ten minutes ago. Thing is, I haven't launched the app at all today, nevermind since I updated this afternoon and rebooted. What are you doing SoundHound?

Plex was also a bit active, talking to my Plex server and a friend's Plex server, along with their own network. I haven't launched Plex today either. What are you up to Plex?

It will be interesting to hear what's going on as people look into this more in depth.

So I wonder, do you have App Privacy Report turned on? Since this watches for network activity, there's a chance it could be slowing things down a tiny bit?

My home internet tops out at 150mbps, but I'm going to test tomorrow on the work network with App Privacy Report on and off and see if it makes a difference.

Where to check for app privacy report.

Not seeing this at all on IP12. Strange.

For me on installing 15, my XR was fast initially.

Then gradually it slowed down. Safari in particular saw slowdowns in animations when moving to different tabs.

Also apps seemed to be purged from memory far quicker than on 14.

When I went back to 14.8 - with exactly the same apps - things were fast and fluid again.

It’s puzzling as 15 doesn’t seem to be a huge leap from 14.

I can only imagine that they’ve reworked some of the lower level frameworks & they’ve been poorly optimised for phones with less RAM than the recent ones.

So I’m hoping that 15.2 or 15.3 will see some much needed optimisation work.

For everyone telling me that Hide my Email is in the mail app already in iOS 15.0 and 15.1, it isnt. The screenshots you guys are posting are from the settings app, not the Mail app. Heres an actual screenshot from my Mail app in 15.1, notice it only allows me to send from one of my personal addresses, not a Hide my Email address.

And for comparison, here's how Apple showed it off at WWDC. Notice the mail app on the left while the settings app is on the right. Looks different from my mail app huh?

There you go, the Mail app does not have Hide my Email yet. And to further prove my point, here's Apples page for iOS 15, where in part 4 of the fine print, it says Hide my Email is comping to the Mail app late 2021. https://www.apple.com/ca/ios/ios-15/

Now that everyone has critiqued how you asked and now how you've clarified the question, I'll chime in with I don't see the option you're showing. I've used Hide My Email successfully for email address forms in Safari, but I don't see how to create on via the actual Mail app.
