iOS 15.2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Running it on a 2020 iPad Pro 11” and my 2021 iPad Pro 2021 12.9”, no real problems. Sometimes an app will not load, solution close and reopen.

CarPlay is seriously broken in 15.2. Ever since I updated, my Pioneer head unit has been randomly restarting. I'm not the only one. There's a thread on Apple support with other Pioneer owners and an Alpine owner all having the same problem. There's lots of other broken stuff, like the inability to select alternate routes that are displayed in Maps. I can live with stuff like the Maps bug, but causing my headunit to randomly restart on a frequent basis is an epic fail.

Just lately I have found that when I take photos on my iPhone they now don't automatically sync into my iPad.
When I go into the phone it says updated on hold. Trying to save power.
I select resume. But it doesn't resume.
I have looked through MR but couldn't find anything about this.
I have reviewed both devices and that didn't help.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am using the latest beta

In my experience, CarPlay in 15.2 is headed back in the right direction... CarPlay was a hot mess in iOS 15 prior to 15.2 ... at least with 15.2, it's fairly usable again ... the only really bad part for me is that sometimes the audio apps (3rd party AND Apple's podcast app [don't use Apple Music]) often fail to (re)start either initially or after a call/text from the CarPlay interface... I often have to launch from my phone, which kind of defeats the whole concept of CarPlay.
 
iPadOS 15.2 is crap. Can’t use the keyboard in third party apps cause every time I type something and press space key, it highlights a different element so can’t use the space key. FML. Morons
