My favorites no longer sync across devices. Add a new favorite on Mac, doesn’t appear on iPhone. Add new favorite to iPhone, doesn’t appear on Mac. Add new favorite on iPad. Doesn’t appear on either one
Same here. After beta 1 I noticed that favorites were synced but not in the same order in my mac and in my iPhone. Weird.

But after some days it stopped to sync at all.

Just upgraded to beta 2 and no sync...

That is a huge number of additions. Looks like they decided to assign a real employee to this project, rather than the summer intern.
Likely they use the MyChart system, which in itself supports health records in iOS. So boom, instantly a bunch more offices support it.

What is the advantage of having my health records on the phone rather than the mychart app? What are Apple's privacy T&C? Mychart has to follow HIPAA for privacy, Apple doesn't. I am wary of adding another potential source of PPI breaches/leaks.

I just saw that there was an update to their app yesterday, which would have auto-installed once I had gone to bed, explaining why it worked when I got home but not this morning.
My Auto Unlock worked tonight when I got home… but didn’t work last night. ??‍♂️

Just noticed that you can copy magnet links using Safari in 15.4b2.

I haven’t tried it in months, so maybe this was new in iOS 15. But Safari didn’t allow copying magnet links (it showed “Link not recognized” or something like this) so this is a welcome change.

Went back to the betas. iOS 15.4 Beta 2 is much better than beta 1 in overall smoothness and stability. Only problem I have is that Find My constantly is running in the background. When I wake up in the morning Find My have been using 100% battery every hour during the night.

Weird it wasn’t for me
Perhaps it has more to do with the version of the operator, that they have updated it for yours in this beta, than the beta itself. I say this, because here in Spain at least, the operators offer us some differences in connectivity based on the characteristics of their network, and they do this through operator customization, operator version in the settings. My carrier, Orange, enables Wi-Fi calling and volte for example. However, my sister's, Yoigo, doesn't have any of this, but it lets her select the 2G network to connect, which mine doesn't, for example, only 3G and 4G. Same phone model, with the same build, but with different options.

the truth is that this second beta is working very well so far, both on the iphone and the apple watch. The only drawback I've seen is that both on the iPhone and on the watch, the "Others" section continues to consume a lot, especially on the watch, where it seems that I don't delete the temporary files and go from occupying all 5.7Gb in beta 1 at 14.2Gb recently updated. With 32Gb, these failures are more noticeable on the clock, which apple has been dragging for many months now, and it seems that none of its systems is spared xD
In terms of autonomy, both the watch and the mobile endure the day amply even giving them a lot of use.

The carrier version for giffgaff is 49.6.2

NFC in my iPhone SE (2020) stopped working on 15.4 2, it's not responding to any payment terminals in store and to my NFC tags.

It's likely the only active app whilst you were sleeping, so therefore of course it would be using 100% battery. It's likely not using much battery whilst asleep, so it's 100% of that small usage... So, if your battery drops 3% overnight, Find my is using 100% of the 3% drained.

That’s true, but I didn’t see it using anything during sleep on 15.3.1. On iOS 15.3.1 nothing was displayed while sleeping.

Note: the App Privacy Report (not "App Tracking Report") is not specific to tracking as controlled by "Allow Apps to Request to Track"; this setting is specifically used by apps to determine whether or not they can ask the user if they can create a unique identifier that will be used to track that user's activity while using that app.

App Privacy Report can be used to determine what data sources and device sensors your apps are utilizing, what servers they are connecting to (and how often), as well as to give you visibility into what network connections are made most often by both the apps on your device as well as the websites you visit; for example, fonts.gstatic.com is accessed by many websites I've visited on my iPhone, including MacRumors, as well as a few apps, while inappcheck.itunes.apple.com is used by many apps to validate that they are authorized to run on the device they're being launched on. It will log all of this activity regardless of whether or not apps are permitted to ask the user if they would consent to being tracked.
I guess the part of this that concerns me is this: App developers are responsible for ensuring they comply with your choices. Sounds to me that we have a cat and mouse game here. How is Apple going to ensure that the app developer is complying?

Siri weather forecast on iPhone is weird. And for some reason when I ask for the forecast on iPad Siri reads out the forecast as if I was in my car or not able to see the visual.

Getting “!” on iMessage periodically during the day today. Sharing photo on iMessage turns off when this occurs in. Reboot clears it the error but have to turn contact photo sharing back on. Just started today and I’ve been on 15.4B2 since release. iPhone 13Pro.

iPhone 13 Pro, spurious automation and "Now Playing" notifications

Ever since I installed beta 2, I have been getting sporadic and erroneous automation and "now playing" notifications.

Several times after installing 15.4b2 I was notified that "three of your automations have run recently". I do have two shortcuts programmed to run (MP3 plays when the battery rises above 90% and 95%) but neither of them had run when I was notified. They are both set to not ask and not notify.

Just now the phone rang and afterwards, there was a notification on the lock screen that my ring tone (an MP3) had played, as if I had manually played a music file through the Music app.

The ringtone lock screen notification is new with beta 2. To my knowledge, I never saw the lock screen notification after an incoming call before 15.4b2. My SMS tone is a different MP3 and it does NOT produce the now playing notification.

Any ideas? Are these bugs or intentional behavioral changes?

I had a similar problem yesterday with 15.3.1. Bookmarks on iPad wouldn’t synch with iPhone or Mac. Turned off iCloud for Safari, then turned it back on and everything synched. Maybe the problem was with iCloud servers.

I start receiving class 0 messages from my service provider since Vodafone attack in Portugal, wish is very annoying after every call made or receive, with my balance.
Is the a way to stop these messages?
