Would you give it a try ?
Sorry, for a moment there I got sidetracked and thought we were talking about cell reception rather than battery life. I’ll sum it up this way: cell reception seems better/more reliable on 15.6 since so far it has used an older modem firmware version for the iPhones 13; battery life on the second beta, however, does feel a tad subpar (versus some prior recent versions) for me on the 13 mini. I could just be imagining things, though, so take it with a pinch of salt.

I do generally find running beta versions preferable to using public releases this late in the software release cycle, and if I weren’t so willing to experiment and potentially muck things up I would stay on 15.x betas throughout the summer—since I’m quite certain there will be more point-releases—until the public release of iOS 16. But we all know what I’m actually gonna do come Monday. ;)

I had great connectivity (cellular and wifi) with 15.5 b1 and b2. Issues reappeared in 15.5 b3 onwards for myself - and I believe several others.....
Guess they are still working on it, as ghostface147 mentions, above.

Isn't that Qualcomm's duty?

To take care of modem firmware?

In Mail, seemingly after it being inactive for a while, if you try to slide from left to right in a message to get back to your inbox, it refuses to do anything other than toggle Read/Unread. You have to close Mail and reopen it for the gesture to work properly again.

Anyone else experiencing this? It’s been happening since 15.5.

Experiencing a most annoying bug on this beta—frequent interruptions of Apple Music downloads. Restarting the Music app seems hit-or-miss (usually miss, sadly) in remedying the issue.

Also, yeah—the ‘predictive’ keyboard intelligence (which I only really use while swiping-to-type) sucks.

Edit: Just restarted the iPhone and music downloads seem to be progressing normally again. I’m not trying to simultaneously stream music this time, however, so that may be a variable.

Autocorrect sucks on this beta. I'm also still having slow 5G speeds/connection. Can't wait for iOS 16 next week.

It is crazy at times!
Here is the craziest so far for me:
I dictated a text reply "I am at an art show". Saw it print out on the screen correctly then watched as it changed into:
SpellCheckOuch.jpg

Not to mention the odd capitalizations and word substitutions.

All this for me too…restarted my device three times and has not been fixed. Also I‘m seeing whenever you search for an emoji and use it in iMessage the keyboard wont go away after its been sent, you have to leave iMessage and go back in to see what you have sent to the contact ..

You can pinch the keyboard and it will go away. Big pinch gesture.
