On my ipad, iphone and mac, after a reboot privat relay is again turn on in icloud after i disabled it before.
Also the option in safari to hide the ip adress is again turn on.

I have pihole in my network, with private relay no dns querys are visible from my devices.

sometimes private relay and hide ip adress change to enabled without reboot 🤨
I’ve found that Private Relay in the iCloud settings somehow turns itself back on once or twice a day.

I usually have to turn it off two or three times a day. I haven’t been doing any resets, so I’m not sure what triggers it to turn itself back on.

Have you always been able to adjust your wallpaper by going into the Wallpaper settings and simply tapping the image of the Home Screen or Lock Screen?

1. I wonder if they’ll ever add a “make unread” option for iMessage. I think this would be supper useful just like on email where you can go back and look and not miss a text even after you read it but you’re in the middle of something.
2. I really wish muted group chats on iMessage were actually muted… It’s annoying that it still shows the notification badge on the messages app. I muted the chat for a reason—i will go look at it when i want to.
3. I have the ios15 beta on my iPad Pro 11” and on my iPhone 12PM and my iMessages won’t sync with my iPad even though i have private relay off???
4. It’s notifying me that I left my iPad behind even though I have my house set as an exclusion.

Does anyone know how to select multiple message threads in Messages (on macOS) to delete them in one go?

Hey guys if your terrible battery life is still happening on iOS 15, I've finally figured out why on 14.7.

Didn't browse macrumors and the forums today on my iOS/iPadOS devices and what a difference in battery life.

Yesterday I had to charge my 12 pro max twice due to this site draining my phone battery like no tomorrow.

Massive difference today, battery life is awesome again.

Macrumors is working on a fix apparently, haven't heard anything yet, hopefully we get some feedback soon.

Is anyone getting their Safari Tab groups to sync across devices?
No luck for me :/ it's frustrating, especially because I'm really starting to like tab groups. My guess is that it's either a bug or just not enabled yet, because Handoff/Continuity between M1 Mac mini and my iPhone 12 works just fine. Running the Monterey beta on there too.

Anyone having issues with FaceTime connectivity? I figured it would have the most bugs seeing that a large portion of the update was FaceTime focused. It was working initially but crapped out on me about an hour ago. Sorry if someone has posted already.
FaceTime is completely broken for me. I can’t answer any call.

I wish the lock screen would show an upcoming alarm setting, just as it shows a countdown for a running timer.

I wish the lock screen would just show the app icon, a smaller version, with a badge above it still counting notifications, like you get on the home pages, then you tap the app you want to check.... all these notification bars across the Home Screen is 'stressful' if all are on and not 'focused' how ever you tailor them all, in my opinion. Needs calming down and cleaning up. but I suppose this is another thread. just reflecting on the iOS 15 state of play. Anyways... I live in hope iOS 16 🙌🏼

Mine just started working today. It syncs pretty fast across devices.

I’ve been thinking about going back to using Tapatalk for viewing the forum for now until this improves. My phone used to heat up so bad browsing this site but it’s a lot better now that I have ads blocked.

Okay I have NO clue what these apps were doing, especially since I had my iPhone in airplane mode and I was literally asleep at this time. 🤔

edit: nvm I’m dumb, I just checked my settings and apparently when I started over fresh for iOS 15 I completely forgot to turn off background app refresh 😑

How do you enable the assistive touch feature on Watch OS 8? I can't find the feature on the Watch under accessibility. Do we need to enable something on the phone or the watch?

I’ve stopped using my iOS/iPadOS devices on this site all together 😂🤦‍♂️ Back on the mac, hopefully they sought this crap out soon, getting annoying watching your battery drain so quickly

Battery life is awesome again on my iPhone and iPad when not using this site and forum.

I have installed iOS 15, watchOS 8 and MacOS 12 and im surprised that everything works as far as I can tell.
Sure, there are some bugs here and there but I have yet to find an iOS app that doesn't work for example.
Battery life probably is worse but that is to expect on beta software.

I have also installed iOS 15 on my first gen iPhone SE and im surprised about the performance and how well this old thing still works.

I really hope they add a refresh button to safari in the beta process. Tapping the 3 dots to access it just adds an extra step, and pull to refresh is only convenient if you’re at the top of the page.

I agree. It is beyond bemusing to think that Apple decided to remove single-click access to reload button.

I just did “pull-down” to refresh the page. It does take a lot of pull from whatever area on the screen, and then downnnnnn, to feel vibration and see the spinning icon at the top. Saw the blue bar go across the bottom of the gray tab oval.

Anyone else not seeing attachments in mail? Outlook sees an attachment (PDF) but Mail just shows paper clip in top right, but no way to see the attached file?

iOS 15 beta 1 feels better than outgoing iOS 14.7 beta for me. The loupe for text selection and double-tap to select text are buggy, I’m sure they will work this out. Other than that, I am loving this beta. Safari is beautifully smooth. Swipe to go back and forth between tabs is faster than how I achieved it previously, it is a real time-saver change and isn’t just a passing gimmick.
