It fades away most of the time. Stop whining about it. They are never going to allow it to be hidden for the minority of users who actually care about it.

Apple slacking on new wallpapers. It’s already beta 5. Maybe beta 6 😂
Safari bar seems to be, seems, cleverer. Not noticing it at all. And when you do a refresh it knows to jump out the way off the macrumors arrows. Maybe that’s not changed just got faster and the sensitivity again has been tweaked to back the F up. 😆😂
And new emojis..lol. Apple seems to think they are super important
It's for iPadOS. Settings > Home Screen & Dock. It's the first toggle on the list.
Turn it on, and your Home Screen app icons get bigger. Not really sure what the purpose is here. I could see it being used as an Accessibility setting, maybe. But that's not where the setting is.
Is the message under the power off slider new that says phone still findable when powered off?
Try playing games where it keeps staying on the screen and put your thumb over it and see how much better the screen looks, there is no need for the bar for years we have learnt how to use the phone it’s in the way, I’m not saying by default but give us an option
Yes, it is. As is the tap option to turn it off.
I have turned off and on my phone twice now and I have not got the message🤔
did a hard reset and it did show up under the power off button now..but its not on the blank screen right before phone goes dark
Release notes are out but they seem dire… next to no resolved issues only the same known issues from B4?

Do you even realize the amount of time it takes to perfect the shading and gradient on an Apple icon? They did that with Weather app icon. Sorry, other fixes can wait for the moment, this was irking their eyes more than other issues.
