Pretty sure this is the RC we get in a few weeks. Beta 8 release notes are out already and it literally has no resolved points and all the same known issues from Beta 7.

iOS 13 and 14 both had the Beta 8 build go on to release as RC / GM at the event. Chances are we get to tip our toes into iOS 15.1 beta waters come next week.

Although I agree with you re this being the RC-Candidate (lol), I would not rely on the lack of updated release notes for that conclusion. They almost always have the previous beta's info in them for the first several hours. Weird but true.

I agree.

15.1 will probably see Universal Control appear, and 15.1 will come out properly around the same time as Monterey.

Key thing to watch for: Does Universal Control make an appearance. My money says "no". I would be happy to lose that bet, though.

The single best thing for me in iOS 15 was how Safari was in beta 5 - just close to polished - in that new avatar that some hated and some liked. They jammed two versions together and created a contraption. I am wondering if this is what I will look at till next June.
