iOS 15 Beta 8 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Stil showing incorrect storage for 12 Pro Max .. its actually worse now saying I’m using 40 GB of my 256 but my photos are 70GB on its own before beta 7 it was showing 121GB being used

MacOS doesn’t come out with the iOS x.0 releases, usually it’s almost a month later.

That’s why I’m sure it’s gonna be in 15.1. Plus it’s not in the current beta and it’s not gonna be suddenly enabled in the RC.

iOS 13 and 14 both had the Beta 8 build go on to release as RC / GM at the event. Chances are we get to tip our toes into iOS 15.1 beta waters come next week.

Can we possibly get 15.1 beta even before 15.0 is released to public?

I'm curious, since I don't have this issue. When did you hop on the beta train?

I hopped on in Beta 6 and never had this problem. I'm wondering if a now-fixed bug in an early beta might have screwed up storage reporting and it's stayed screwed up for you in every beta since.

since beta 1 but only realized it was wrong after beta 7. I’m going to do a fresh install when 15 is released in full and its only hitting pro max users it seems for some reason. My 12 mini doesn’t have this issue

Let it settle then hard restart I feel. Mines gone mental at present. 5.9gigs, more room for porn 😜😆😂 (jokes)

Not seeing that issue on my 12 pro Max.

Yea. It’s in there, but not officially yet, cos you have to terminal it.

I suspect that we will get the next beta of Monterey in 2 weeks, which will enable it properly. That week we will see 15.1 beta 1 too, with UC.
