iOS 15 Broken/Buggy Apps

Teams and Outlook are working for me too.

Excel and OneNote are crashing on launch, but they're only crashing when using Office365 (SSO) account from work!
When I'm using my personal MS account to login on OneNote and Excel, both apps are working fine, no issues and no crashes.

Same here on IPP 12.9 - Word and Excel both crash on launch.
Deleting and reinstalling goes through the setup again, but then crashes when it tries to start the application proper.

Anyone using the DuckDuckGo widget? It has been broken for me for a while. It works for a moment, e.g. after a reboot or randomly after unlocking the phone but as soon as I flip through apps and go back to the Home Screen, the faved page icons have those weird black lines on them. Already reinstalled the app. No luck. Also does not matter what sites I use or in which order I put them.

I also have an issue on Instagram. When I look at stories, it sometimes freezes on someone’s story and I need to close the app and open it again

Firefox crashes with regularity for me on my original SE (2016)... It's been that way for a long succession of beta builds, all the way up to this Monday's RC. Surprised it's not on the "Broken apps" list here.

See others with the same issue on Reddit.

Same here: personal Account works, business account lets the office Apps crash (iPad Pro 2018)

Crashing seems to be relegated to the iPad Pro only. At least the M1 12.9 inch. If you have other iPP, please report back if you are having the same issue.

iPad Air: unaffected
iPhone 12: crashes, but is resolved after app reinstall

It crashes for everyone with the same setup, on iOS 15, we’ve established that between this thread and the dedicated thread about it. 🙃

Microsoft have confirmed on Twitter that they are aware and looking into it, so a fix will come.

UPDATE: The Office365 issue has been fixed by Microsoft. They released the latest build to TestFlight beta testers, which I'm one of them. Sadly looks like the beta program is closed for new members, so the rest will have to wait for the final release to get approved on the App store.

Looks like they are already rolling out the production version…. Fixed the “stability issue”

if I download the PB to play with at work tonight on this 12 pro im trading in to apple next week do banking apps work etc?

That's why you were not having any issue. If you follow this thread, and the specific thread for this topic, it was clear that it only affected users using corporate SSO account, which is what Microsoft has just solved with the recent release.

Can anyone confirm whether iCatcher (podcast app) works on iOS 15? I’d just like to make sure before I upgrade.
 
Hey all,

can anyone confirm if the voice memo app on iOS 15 is working for you? I have just had iOS 15 installed and the voice memo app loads but it does not record anything when I press the record button.
I am using iPhone 12 Pro.
