I've had that multiples times in the past on various iOS versions. Trying going into Sounds & Haptics, find your Text Tone choice, tap it, then tap the selection in the list of sounds so that it goes off. That usually makes it start working for me.

For everyone having VPN issues, there are multiple comments on other threads that Private Relay is interfering with folks' use of VPN apps. Try turning it off and see if that works. You can find it (I think) in the info button under your chosen network.

I should have mentioned I had tried that and still no sound for me. So, does sound work for you on beta 1?

Usually, it’s because the check for valid iOS versions is hardcoded. The app rejects anything not on the list as a potential threat, including most beta versions.

Installed this on my ancient iPhone 7 I still had in my drawer (sucks that I gifted away the XS and X...) and the very first app I installed seems to crash on start: 1Blocker
Can anyone confirm? I have yet to do the routine "first restart to smooth out the bumps" that you should always do when hopping on a beta train this early.

1Blocker is working for me just fine.

ExpressVPN latest beta released to fix issues for iOS 15 beta. Not tested as not on 15 Beta train just yet ?

Regal (Cinemas) doesn’t work. Crashes immediately when attempting App launch.
