I think i am really stuffed now.......I tried to put the phone back to 16.7.12 last night but before I did I backed it up, then installed the old IOS which seemed to work but now I cant restore from the backup because I had the new IOS 16.7.13 when I did the backup on itunes....😡

You shouldn't need to "backup from a previous backup". Once you sign into iCloud everything there should download. I recommend letting this happen overnight when connected to power and on WiFi. Syncing a fresh device can take many hours.

I have iOS 10, iOS 12, iOS 14, iOS 15, iOS 16, and iOS 18 devices that all sync to iCloud. They all have the same synced info when they talk to iCloud. I have the 2TB iCloud+ plan.

Yes, all working this end now. Have made calls, received and sent SMS. (I hope 000 is working, but can't really test that out!)

I went to check to see if my old 1st Gen iPad Pro has this, it's there but fails to install. (seeing the above posts, that could be a blessing?)

Was this update removed, are there issues?
