Ah yep, I’ve got the stutter but only when closing the menu after long pressing icons. Opening is okay.

I can live with that for now. Might to to iOS 18 later anyway

I can confirm the stutters and lagging horribly on my 13 Pro.
I've never experienced this before on any version of iOS, beta and non beta

For me it happens most of the time with folders that have more than one page. Sometimes it disappears and works fluid again.

Promotion introduced with the iPhone 13 Pro almost 3 years ago… still some bugs with it

I don’t think that is appropriate since it is still a beta release. Now, if this is still occurring when the actual public release occurs then it would be a different story.

I can understand it's a beta however the stuttering and lagging is in your face across the entire UI. How could QC not have noticed it.

While I agree, my guess is as long as a beta release doesn’t brick, boot loop, or cause testers major issues I would imagine this is an acceptable thing to release in their coding process. It does suck, but isn’t detrimental to using the device.

Is anyone with an iPhone seeing stuttering without Promotion? How does a 4th beta on a mature iOS version get this bad? At this point staying on 17.5.1 until the last version of iOS 17 is fully vetted.

i turned on the option to limit frame rate on my 15 pro and it still stutters. I believe someone on a nonpromotion device was also experiencing it.

Yeah, stutter is also present on my 11 Pro. Just installed iOS 17.6 beta 6 on it real quick via ipsw (DFU-restore, the 11 Pro had 18 beta on it) and it sutters right from the beginning with no app and nothing on it.

Anyone on iOS 17.6 beta 4 also seeing intermittent WiFi connectivity/issues?

Could be the locations I’m at (traveling) but it’s very bad. Already reset network and performed a hard restart.
