Does anyone else have issues with Safari? More frequently since the update it's been super laggy, unresponsive, pages sometimes don't load, and it's a battery killer.

I hope I'm not the only one experiencing this

Guessing here now but since the security updates are related to Safari it could potentially be a changed made to Safari. Not sure you use extensions, VPN software of using Safari in a different way than plain vanilla "out of the box" style?

If you are using it, check if there are any updates.

Tried the good old clear the internet cache, restart phone and so on after the update?

The same thing happens to me. Safari works very badly... This update damaged something. 😤😤😤😤

17.7.2 working fine here on SE 2020 and 12 Pro.

I should mention: Only using Firefox Focus, DDG and Brave here - absolutely not Safari.

Would be interesting, what percentage is still rocking iOS 17, because 18 still has more "experimental" status... 🤣

Still on 17.7.2 on my daily driver - sorry, but i need it dependable!

I'm hearing very good comments and opinions about the new iOS 18.4. I think I'll update. I'll wait a few more days and if all goes well, I'll do a clean install. I look forward to your opinions, my friends. I have 13PM.😉😊

I'd wait a few more days at least. I think my 13PM will jump straight from 17 to 19 beta. I lost hope that iOS 18 will improve.

Yes, the point is that if iOS 19 doesn't convince you, you'll be waiting for 20... But just as you say, you have to wait a couple of days.

iPadOS 17.7.6 was released March 31, 2025 for the iPad (6th generation) and the iPad Pro (2nd generation) since they don't support iPadOS 18.

It's odd that all iPhones that support iOS 17 also support iOS 18, however not all iPads that support iPadOS 17 can run iPadOS 18.

About the security content of iPadOS 17.7.6

Has anyone made the upgrade to iOS 18.4? I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience. Thanks in advance, friends!👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💪🏻💪🏻😊😊

Been running 18.4 on a number of devices and they are all fine. The only device that has support for AI is my M1 iPad Pro, but haven't really messed around with AI. I thought 18.4 would affect the battery as AI had been enabled (in europe) but its as good as it always has.
Other devices I have been testing with 18.4 are, iPhone SE 2 & 3, iPhone 11, 13, 13 pro, 14 and a few 16 devices.
iPads are the iPad 9, Air 3 and M1.
My 13 pro has started to show a bit of battery degradation recently, but I suspects that's more to do with me having enabled smart devices with Apple Home.

I did have an odd BT issue recently in my car after an update, think it was 18.3.2, but that seem to have disappeared after updating to 18.4.

Oh, lately I have had a few users complaining about Apple relay in a company WiFi environment (802.1x), not sure its iOS related but have had a few complaining that its keeps switching on and off. Its only been on networks with .1x tho.

Thanks for this report specifying the devices: you've tested 18.4 on both my wife's phone (13) and mine (SE2). Really appreciate your listing them. Think I'll go ahead and upgrade before 18.5 arrives!

I don't know if anyone is still reading this topic but I just wanna congratulate everyone that's still on iOS 17. Next time you're eating some dessert, eat a bit more, you deserve it.
haha..

So when do we plan to upgrade to 18? 😅
