iOS 17 Beta 5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

World Clock widget fixed. Although when turning the screen on it seems to initially show as a different time then update instantly which looks a bit odd

Probably not at least in this initial version of iOS 17. The Apple website says Live Voicemail is available in "English (Canada, US)".

Beta 4 worked really nicely on my IP 14P. And this is even smoother. Quite a bit, I wasn’t experiencing, has been fixed according to folks on here. Nice little modem forward bump too.

Do it. Try it for 48hours. If you do have glitches or bugs, reinstall the iOS with the IPSW and then test again. Or just install using the IPSW which will give your phone a nice fresh install.

I was really hoping for some functionality to come back to my HomePods. I can't update them, I can't airplay to them (I know airplay is a known bug still) from any device, and Siri requests don't work. I've reported this so many times in iOS, TvOS, and Homepod categories. I've had bricks for speakers for a month now. Hope this is fixed by official release.
 
I have everything activated and the optimized battery charge doesn't work for me (since beta 1 or 2), does it happen to anyone else? Thank you!
 
Not sure if this is a beta issue, but happened for the first time today right after installing beta 5… added $700 to Apple Cash to pay my Apple Card - money deducted from my bank but transaction and cash missing from Apple Cash. I tested another $10 and it pushed the whole $710 through but the $10 was never deducted from my account. Never received email receipt either.. could it be a beta 5 issue?
 
So AdGuard (free version) finally started working in safari for me. I did keep on trying to update filters and turn off and on the blocker (both previously not making the blocker work). After turning on the DNS filter in other section and updating the filters, ads began to be blocked on websites in safari (ads continued to be blocked after turning off the AdGuard DNS filter as well), so unsure really as the issue.

Anyways, free version blocks ads in safari only. Pro helps block trackers in other apps.

I keep getting this error when trying to install iOS 17 beta 5. Restarted my phone already.

Edit: finally working now after trying for 15 mins

Very annoying. Can’t get the update. Did I see in here somewhere that a VPN can cause this (I’m traveling and have VPN active)?

Bug where the keyboard blocks the send button
In the messaging app when sharing is still active smh
 
i have an issue where badge for email wont go away no matter what i do, my personal email still says i have 300 unread even though i have have clicked read all multiple times and it shows nothing as unread

Sorry if this has been discussed, but is anyone else experiencing instant crashes after trying to search in the App Library? Mine is crashing right away after inputting one letter in both my iPad Pro 11 and iPhone 14 Pro Max

No crashes here. Searching for and opening apps from App Library all okay.

Interesting this happens to me all the time in both devices. Maybe it’s either because of the number of apps or a particular app I have installed on both of them? Submitting feedback.
