I have noticed since updating that my iPad Air 5 will get incredibly hot in Safari, like the processor is maxing out until I close it and give it a few mins. Nothing else causes the iPad to do this and I believe there’s some bug with location sharing or live updating, as it seems to be the site Sofascore when following a game and one other that do it every single time.

Even after closing the tab the iPad still heats up until I close Safari entirely, then it’s okay unless I go to one of those sites again. This is new behaviour and am hoping for a fix as it is destroying the battery life. Games and other apps don’t appear to cause this issue, a hard restart didn’t fix it either.

Has anyone else encountered this Maps bug? Select destination, navigate. Share ETA from there, search for someone not on the shortlist: it just locks up the app

Workaround: ask Siri to share your ETA
It has already been reported.. however, I'm curious if this is a universal bug for others. Anyone else?

Mine works but very very slow to respond…doesn’t crash though
After hanging for minutes, I think I figured it just didn't work at all. Mine doesn't crash, but just sits there and never presents a keyboard and there's no way to get out

Maybe it's crawling on loading my database of 6k+ contacts (so the less contacts, the faster it comes back to being responsive?)

Any idea why in the past few days my launch day 16 Pro has decided that I'm waiting to transfer my data to a new device? It's the only iPhone linked to my Apple account, and didn't show up for the first 10 or so days after I got it. Bug maybe?

I manually made a device backup on iCloud, but for some reason it stores it as a temporary backup. Hopefully this is solved in the next Beta, as it's a bit of an eyesore when I open settings and it can't be dismissed.

Fixed w/ beta 6
