Presently all Carnival Cruise HUB app users are not receiving notifications for chat on iPhones. Unclear if related to the notification bug that also impacts mail.

I have BT issues since I updates to 18.3.2 that I haven's noticed before.
Most obvious is when I stream music via BT on my car, it cuts out every so often.

First I thought it might be bad cellular coverage or that I had something in the car that might interfere, but it keeps happening. This is a 13 pro, haven't tested it on my other phone a 14.

Never had any issues before with BT. Have also noticed it happening with my airpods pro, not as much as when I stream BT in the car but still happening.

Will try and "re-pair" the devices again and see if that makes any difference. But just odd that its happening all of a sudden.
I wonder if this is similar to what people with iPhone 16e is experiencing?

Has anyone else noticed freezing in the App Library? I close an app and can’t scroll up, down, left, or right. I have to lock and unlock my phone to fix it

I also have this problem but have no idea how to solve it. Tried everything  I didn't have this problem on 18.3.1.
Go to settings>notifications>mail>customize notifications.

Under accounts click iCloud, toggle alerts on and badges on change your sound to whichever you like.

See if this helps

Thank you for sharing your experience, Reverend. I know you always advocate for updating to the latest version, but I thank you for sharing this bugs.

Have you reported the BT issue to Apple? Hopefully it’s something isolated to your iPhone although, as you say, iPhone 16e users have been complaining about it as well…

Let’s cross our fingers for a 18.3.3 that fixes the Mail App notifications and the BT issues, and doesn’t break anything else.

I know you’re quite adamant when defending Apple software and updating to the latest version, and I understand it because security fixes are important, but if they break basic iPhone features I prefer to stay on a previous version, in this case 18.3.1 if it was still signed. Also, according to Apple this security bug was already addressed in iOS 17.2 and this is sort of a “complementary” fix. I don’t think it is that relevant but I don’t know…

Apple should focus more on the software part of the devices, honestly.

Yea, its reported. Had a chat with people today at work to see if they experience the same thing but most of them are on iPhone 14 and noone had come across this issue. But the 14 has a different BT version (5 vs 5.3) and I guess a different chipset.

Will try and see if my workphone (iphone 14) are having the same issues with my car when I get the chance.

I agree when it comes to testing SW on devices. That Apple are releasing public betas are one of many ways to ensure compability and functionality. But its impossible to test all combinations.

In a case when there is a security issue related to BT for a specific chipset on a specific model that's released in a smaller update its a lot harder to test all combinations (if its working streaming music in a 10 year old car).
Maybe it would be in idea to do a beta release of smaller releases but at the same time it would be a but of a hassle to administrate. But could be doable.

Will see if I can test with another streaming service too, I use mostly Spotify and Soundcloud, but have only noticed this issue with Spotify. So maybe its a combo of OS, Spotify, Car, BT chipset and streaming quality.

My wife had a bug that prevented her from syncing newly created calendar entries in a shared Exchange 365 calendar (syncing for changes of existing entries would work) - apparently this bug affected systems or calendar entries which were not set to UTC timezone (and yeah, I had fun figuring that out...)

This seems to be fixed now with 18.3.2
Not that there is any mention of it in the release notes of course.

Can someone help me, I'm on 18.4 beta and spotted this setting in Location Services under System Services. It's "Improve Location Accuracy". I don't remember it being there before and now can't check if it's already public. I can't find any mention of it anywhere online. Is it there on 18.3.2?

@MrRom92 I managed to encounter your issue of not being able to update the apps after messing around w my phone a bit and a simple reset all settings resolved the issue.

It does remove the WiFi passwords from the Passwords app so you might want to back those up before you do though.

That would be a last resort but I will keep it in mind, if an IPSW update does not resolve the issue on its own. Thank you. I’m curious how you managed to replicate the issue?

Was having some weird network issues so reset those settings and chose to reinstall using IPSW a couple times over the next few days cuz I was bored. And ended up with that issue. This was on 18.4b4 just fyi but settings reset should solve the issue for you as well.

Focus Filters still bugging out for me so I've had to make a shortcut and automation as a workaround.

I've had several app crashes since updating, primarily with Music, when editing or scrolling up and down the queue. Has anyone else had the same experience?
