My iphone 16e has no speed control icon/button on video. I just recently foud out when I wanted to edit my video in slow motion but the icon/button is nowhere to found. See the screenshot.

Is it worth upgrading? I have and iPhone 15 with iOS 18.6
Lately, I've been having a problem where the ringtone and alarm volume goes down to zero several times a day, and I've missed important alarms. It only started happening to me on iOS 18, but more frequently on 18.6, and I doubt that it has been resolved.
Hi, it's a security update, so, yes, it's worth upgrading.

One thing I have noticed is that the native e-mail app takes quite some time to load pictures that are attached, and sometimes they simply don't load properly so that I have to kill the app and start over.
I think this behavior started with 18.6 or 18.6.1

My 15 Pro on 18.6.2 exhibits the same behavior, although I'm not sure when it went missing. Bug report sent to Apple.

Huge delay when selecting a new contact to text, like almost a full minute before I can type a message. 16PM DFU restored set up as new.

Wow… Honestly I can’t believe that iOS 18 is still so buggy even at it’s end of life. That’s 18.6.2 right? I’m on 18.6.1 and shockingly, the automatic switch of the wallpaper between dark mode and light mode is still broken, switching only the Home Screen icons but not the wallpaper.

Let’s hope this has been because they were focused on iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 all this time, and things get better in the short term…

Yep, iOS 18.6.2. I can’t even go back to 18.6.1 now. Not that I ever installed it. iOS 18.6 was working pretty good for me I should have left it alone. Years of this and I still update knowing the potential consequences and that I’ll have to wait at minimum 3 months before getting my phone back on another decent build, that I am happy with.

Exactly. I should have just stayed with 18.6. It was just fine. Now I moved on to 26 beta 8 and battery is better than 18.6.2 but still not great. Sigh.
