I predict RC and a crispy sausage sandwich with brown sauce at 18:00 here in Jolly old England.
I agree, with release on December 10th.... and probably a quick bug fix release the following week.
Question is, do you think we get 18.3 going into the holidays? or you think they are going to wait til the new year..

18.3 is probably just a minor update before a big 18.4 update, so they might not ship it until after public release of 18.2.
18.1 and 18.2 was released in developer beta much earlier than usual because of the hype and promises for the new AI features
I think Apple will continue to drop the first developer beta alongside the RC beta. I don’t think it was just a 18.1 and 18.2 thing… And I think 18.3 will have some decent feature additions, but probably will be a smaller update than 18.4.

I think we’ll be getting iOS 18.3 beta soon.

If Monday is still in play for the public release, I think we get the RC today.
Yeah, I mean it doesn’t really make much sense for Apple to release the RC tomorrow because then that doesn’t leave much time for testing till the public release of next week as it’s been rumored for weeks

I looked it up, and @gwhizkids is right, the iOS 18.1 RC dropped 21, and 18.2 Developer Beta 1 dropped on the 23rd. Maybe I was late to update? I don’t think I was. I’ve usually been updating the day a new beta drops. I don’t understand though why they wouldn’t drop them both at once, otherwise you install a beta, just to install another beta the next day or two. I admit though, I’m really excited about testing a new version probably with new features, so I’m a bit biased.

One big reason they don’t do it simultaneously is that they still want feedback on the RC before it's released as the public release. If they release the first beta for the next version at the same time, most would go there and skip the RC.

So you think we get RC of 18.2 today or more likely tomorrow?
