Yep, we’ll see if the SDK notes are again synced with 18.0 for all the common features not part of 18.1’s AI.?
I think we’ll get both 18.0 beta 8 and 18.1 beta 3 today
I think why I'm skeptical about today is because Beta 7 came out last Tuesday and last year's Beta 8 came out on a Tuesday, perhaps to start aligning release dates for the upcoming Tuesday, 9/10 event. I guess we'll know for sure soon!
Need 8.1 Beta 3 today. Battery life has been atrocious on my 15 Pro Max.
This will likely be the last beta before the GM, which will be seeded 2 weeks from now. So that won’t have an impact on what day of the week the betas are seeded this week.
Looking back at iOS 16, beta 6 was seeded on a Monday, beta 7 was seeded on a Tuesday, then beta 8 was a Monday again. Not that they will do that again, but I think the only reason they seeded the betas last Tuesday is because they pushed out the 17.6.1 update last Monday.
Event is on September 9th, so I bet today release of beta 8 and 18.1 beta 3!
I took the morning off of work hoping that I can but 8.1 beta 3 on my phone this morning. I'm going to be really pissed if it is not at 10 pacific time because i have to get to work by noon. Very tired of wasting vacation days in this beta cycle

Given Gurman was wrong (9/10), and it's now 9/9, thats the day of the RC and the 16th should be the release. Mondays are doing well lately!

I’m going to assume there will be another 18.0 beta today or tomorrow (probably the last beta, before the RC on September 9th) and beta 3 of 18.1.

Hoping for an 18.1 update today. The battery life on the recent beta has been a dumpster fire for me, and I'm not one to complain about battery life.
