iOS 18. Update OTA, or Clean Install.

Do you prefer OTA Updates or Clean Install.

Problems I've never experienced, whether it's because my iPhone gets a clean install or because I'm just lucky, I don't know. But that's why I'm interested in hearing about people's experiences. Especially people in here, who I consider NOT to be part of the typical iPhone users, but people with more insight.

But thanks for your input. I mean it. It's a comment like this that makes me strongly consider just updating the OTA in the future.

I’ve never done a clean install. I’ve always just upgraded from the Settings app. I’ve never had any problems. I’m a software engineer. Based on experience, I try to do things the most common way because that’s probably what was tested the most. The most frequent problems reported by our testers and users were from people who did something in a way we didn’t anticipate. Just my two cents.
