Can’t seem to be able to get past the “Some iCloud data isn’t syncing” after setting up a new phone on 26.1. Just keeps spinning forever and disables settings app nav until you restart the app.

Someone mentioned earlier not being able to sync passwords across their devices. I suppose you are in the same boat.

Could this be related to the issue (acknowledged by Apple) that has some users unable to download Apple Intelligence features?

I think the dislike for it is that it's such a minor glitch from a user perspective that seems easy to fix that it demonstrates a lack of care. I obviously have no clue what goes into it, but I assume that all switches used the same underlying tools. It's also just discordant from my perspective; if a switch acts differently then I'm going to think something is different about it and will try to figure out what it is. Perhaps that's just my personality, but to me it's unusual behaviour like a checkbox list acting like a radio button list and letting me only select one and unselecting the others.

That said if I go camping for a week I'm gonna turn off my wifi because every bit of power is important to me, and I'd prefer to not bring a heavy battery bank.
The fact that there a many similar slider switches in iOS, it's a matter of Apple simply not caring that one of them was not working. There coding for the wifi switch and BT or any other setting should be identical. It was sloppy, lazy effort.

Video is too big but please check this bug on the dock for Liquid Glass and report so apple can fix these stupid visual glitches

I’m not sure if that actually disables the find my network from working. It might only disable your ability to find your things.

Edit: yep looks like you can indeed disable the find my network all together
Find My Network is the thing that stays on when the phone is turned off. You really only need to turn it off if you want to store your phone turned off for 3 months in a drawer
Find my, wifi and cellular really don’t use that much battery to make it worth turning them off.

I noticed my air purifier started showing the auto/manual control on the main screen, which as far as I was aware was a universal issue with air purifiers. Not sure what caused it though.

You used to have to tap into settings, then tap the multiple accessories, then tap a component of it to see the auto/manual switch.

Not showing up on my 26.0 iPad.

If you select App Store and then your account, swipe down to show latest app updates the badge count in the top right corner is obscured by the account sheet! I’ve sent in feedback.

Edit: this is for iOS 26 🤦🏻‍♂️
