The lag is still there when swiping from widget screen to home screen. What a joke.
This bug is driving me crazy. I tried to think that the app developers didn't adapt the system well at first, and wrote emails to many app developers, they couldn't find the problem, and finally realized that it is a bug in the SYSTEM, so it is so obvious, what APPLE's Beta versions are testing? This is the OFFICIAL version!

Safari has been TERRIBLY slow for me since 26.1 on iPhone 14.. My Wi-Fi is exactly the same, I've run Speedtest tests over several days and there are no problems ; no issues on my other devices either, pages load much faster on my laptop as usual. My configuration is exactly the same.

This started immediately after 26.1, and the only two apps I have in my multitasking (Telegram and Safari) reload very often as if there were a lack of RAM, which was not the case at all before with 26.0 or 26.0.1...

Does anyone else have a similar concern?

Haven’t gone thru all 10 pages, but when I connect my iPhone 16 Pro Max via an Apple cable, CarPlay crashes after about 45 seconds and that caused my head unit in my Impala to restart. Not good. Basically can’t connect my phone in my car right now. I’ve rebooted my phone and tried in my car on a few different t days. Keeps happening.

Re-pairing with the CarPlay and with a different cable perhaps?

Unfortunately yes, I though it is something with my router but it’s not. On chrome everything works well but on Safari very often Pages didn’t load at All as if there’s no internet. Reloading doesn’t solve the problem. Only closing tab and searching once again.

Do you have Private Relay enabled?

Jesus, my iPhone 13 has a ton of lag, glitches and freezes lately. Bought it brand new from Best buy like 6 months ago. Never experienced anything like this in 7 years of using iPhone.

I get this a lot when I’m in private browsing mode — pages just don’t load unless I force quit Safari and reopen it. So annoying.

this update fixed my photos app!
since iOS 18 been getting no photos available in the widget, no memories creator
both now working, i did delete and resync the photos after this update so that must have done the trick
this didnt work when i tried it with iOS 26.0

Is anybody using 26.1 on their iPhone and iPad? If so, how is the syncing between devices please? For example, are Safari iCloud tabs in sync across devices? Do changes to Reminders and Notes sync immediately, etc?

These things are working fine on iOS18, but in the past have been broken on a new OS and taken a while for Apple to sort out. (iOS13 I’m looking at you in particular!)

I’ve been using 26.1 on my work iPhone (and the 26 betas on a spare iPhone 11). My work phone is the iPhone 16 model and 26.1 is much better on that than the iPhone 11 has been on any 26 versions (as you might expect). I’ve not encountered any issues with the work phone on 26.1 so am thinking of updating my daily driver iPhone (which is a 15 Pro) to it, as well as my iPad. But if syncing isn’t working properly, I’ll hold off for now.

For a time both my iPad Pro and iphone were on 26.1. The ipad is on 26.2 right now. There were no syncing issues between the two in any app or function in 26.1. Syncing wasn’t an issue, but, 26.1 brought a number of new issues, mostly with Safari, onto my ipad. I haven’t experienced those same issues on my phone

Since upgrading to iOS 26.1, the Music app had a tendency to crash when I first open it. I have to open it a few times before it stops crashing at which point it works fine. No idea why this is. Fortunately it doesn’t crash while using it.

I’m having the same issue. After every restart they get deleted. I reinstalled via IPSW with no luck.
Yeah I only restart because of the glitchy full screen album artwork on lockscreen not working sometimes. Eventually the home controls pop back up but it’s random when they do

Deleting and reinstalling the Music app appears to have resolved this.
