The stutter when swiping from the widget page to the main Home Screen is pretty gnarly. Yikes.

It’s acting like an old android phone. Not impressed.

Restart, then do some normal things and make note of exactly when it stops working again. Mine seems to stay working.

I just connected my phone to the charger, and it’s getting warm. The bug immediately reappears.

i actually don't get a stutter on my device at all doing that. and if i do its so small my eyes can't percieve it

My Air is def still stuttery. Little hitches everywhere when scrolling. So bizarre. Feels way worse than 26.0.1. Hope it’s indexing stuff slowing it down because this is a big downgrade.

If "indexing" is causing UI stuttering, that is in itself a failure in the system design, especially for scrolling.

Running smooth on my 17 Pro Max, starting to feel like iOS again. 26.0.1 was meh, this is really feeling how I remember iOS feeling.

I just hope that drawing lag of the icons is resolved when unlocking the phone at times. Sometimes the hand of the clock icon shows up before anything

How about with folders on the dock?

It’s now a bit smoother altho the lag from the widget page to Home Screen is even worse now and still hitches everywhere.

I’m seeing this as well on my 13 Pro. A 3-step animation stutter from widget page to my single Home Screen and vice versa.

General iOS 26 question, does anyone else NOT have these shiny borders that move? Mine are fixed and I thought they move as you move your device.

Sad to report the animated highlights still get stuck sometimes. :-( and you have to wiggle your phone around before they reset back to default.

^ This was fixed in beta 4 and now broken again in RC

Since 26 my iP 13 Pro Max when unlocked takes longer to load icons and widgets.
