Apparently so. My search is working perfectly. So I guess it depends on what specifically is broken on your end. Perhaps describe what is broken and folks and try it and see.Does this fix the issue of the Settings search bar not working?

It’s a common, but not ubiquitous issue that has been widely reported with iOS 26.x.Apparently so. My search is working perfectly. So I guess it depends on what specifically is broken on your end. Perhaps describe what is broken and folks and try it and see.
So in that case I guess those affected will need to update and see if it solves the issue for them. Thanks for the info. It’s a common, but not ubiquitous issue that has been widely reported with iOS 26.x.
I had no idea until my spouse pointed out that search was not showing a specific setting. Settings app searches on our identical phones with the same carrier and iOS 26 version would return different results. Mine, on the other hand, were complete (or at least more complete).
This may or may not answer your question… but it’s clear that there’s more going on with this update than many might think.Instead of the statement "bug fixes" a list of what specific bugs were fixed would be useful.
As I said earlier, it feels a little smoother overall and more polished in a way. This may or may not answer your question… but it’s clear that there’s more going on with this update than many might think.
Most likely a placebo, it’s a point point update and for me it’s exactly the same with all the same bugs and horrible keyboard still thereiPhone 15 Pro and after this update my phone feels snappier and the battery life seems better too.
Wonder if those changes has been implemented in the iOS 26.3 betas. Since iOS 26.3 is shaping to be a minor update visually I would make sense that they’ve been doing a lot of work behind the scenes.iOS 26.2.1 has brought quite a few updates if this article is correct.
My other half updated their 14 Plus to 26.2.1 and has commented on the better overall performance and fluidity. I used it and I’m surprised how quick it is and running iOS 26 very well. Most likely a placebo, it’s a point point update and for me it’s exactly the same with all the same bugs and horrible keyboard still there
Installed it yesterday on my 11" iPad pro M1. I have the cellular 2TB version tho, so might be different from yours. After the update, on iPad Pro 11” 3rd gen, it seems like there’s some system service that’s mauling battery life. Normal approaches don’t seem to help identify the source, and it does persist after a shutdown / restart.
Anyone else seeing this, or just me?
This happened to me also (again)! I am really sick of Apple's BS!! We need a good Linux Phone!Went for the update today via my Mac and cable - downloaded fine, then all hell broke loose. It wiped device entirely, couldn't update, and couldn't even 'find' phone - so a restore from backup was not possible.
Deja vu moment from last year when the install of 26 somehow coincided with a completely fried logic board. They said total coincidence, but really? Their install of new one did the same, so they gave up and handed me a new phone.
Today, it was another visit to Apple Store, where techs were able to strong-arm iOS back onto device and a slow restore from iCloud (from a backup yesterday, thank goodness) brought device back to life. Tech - while helpful, called it a 'glitch'. I have other words for it.
It seems every OS has its issues - and the more "Squirrel!" features they add, the likelihood something will go wrong expands. Linux no different. This happened to me also (again)! I am really sick of Apple's BS!! We need a good Linux Phone!
Have a look at Sailfish OS and the new Jolla phone, its slowly getting there and hopefully it will be an alternative to Android and iOS soon. This happened to me also (again)! I am really sick of Apple's BS!! We need a good Linux Phone!
All of my devices with 26 on them burn through battery much faster thsan they did with 18. I went from 18.7.2 to 26.2. 26.2.1 is the same.I'm on 16 pro max battery health is at 99% Anyone having major battery drain? this is by far the worst update so far never had such huge battery drain after an iOS update.
iOS 26.2 was very stable for me is only 26.2.1 that is draining very badly compared to previous iOS update. Never had such a bad battery drain in my life after an update, hopefully after a few more days it will stable and is taking too many days to stable. All of my devices with 26 on them burn through battery much faster thsan they did with 18. The control center swipe down bar sometimes is stuck in between.
Can apple just get rid of the swipe bar?
I'm sure everyone knows where to swipe for the control center.
