Is anyone on iPad getting this weird look for the update?

UPDATE: Connected to Wi-Fi and the update page changed.

Am I high, or is this significantly faster than 26.6? Zero stutter in areas where every previous release of 26 stuttered (17 Pro). I wonder if this release is using the updated indexing or whatever the 26.6 release deployed.

You aren’t high lol I installed 26.6.1 RC last week and the performance across the board was noticeably better than 26.6! Great and stable update.

My iPhone 15 has been sat on "update requested" for over an hour now.

I've restarted. Deleted the partial download (which was only 51 MB). Maybe the servers are being hammered.

Check that you don’t have “low data mode” enabled for your wifi. That sorted it for me.

I’ve been on a 26.6.1 for a week now and I don’t see ANY difference in performance compared to 26.6, it feels exactly the same. It only felt faster right after the update for few hours, then it came back to as it was before. It’s 100% better than 26.5 but I still see some minor stutters here and there on my 17 Pro.

Really hoping iOS 27 feels A LOT better.

This is a new build up from 26.6.1 RC which I’ve been on since last week, this feels even slicker to me.
I was getting ready to jump onto the iOS 27 beta train, but so far impressed enough with the performance & stability of 26.6.1 to stick with it.

Yeah I’ve seen it but it’s just one build higher so I don’t expect anything major. I’ll update tomorrow and will check if there’s anything different on my side.

Always seems smoother after updates. Then the glitches come back, at least in my experience.

Update went smoothly and performance is great so far. The shortcut automations that stopped working after the 26.6 update are working again after the 26.6.1 update so I'm happy..
