I'm using 20W charger only for prevent overheat
Same I use USB C port from the power strip and 20W charger. MagSafe sparingly due to heat issues so I only use it on my desk when I use the laptop for a while or the power bank on long days

No wonder you still have 100% health… do you use charge limits? I use 90%

Beta's should always be worse as the amount of logging and background processes to help the devs. It's not until the GM where they remove that logging from the OS that the batter is given some breathing room

I went back to iOS 18 for a week. With the battery drain on my 16 Pro it can barely last multiple days while as I could get up to 2 on one charge on iOS 18.

Explained bout this earlier too… and GMs/RCs are like their final public releases so they don’t have the nasty drainage issues our iPhones get.
Actually, baddery life on my 16+ with IOS 26 is reasonably good so far. It's not a million miles off from when I had IOS 18.5 installed.

Not sure if this is correct, but are early Beta's lightly loaded feature wise? hence not so much power being drawn?
I experienced minimal heat for a few days, possibly cos I wasn’t outdoors as much and the air conditioning was strong, making it difficult to feel the warmth when I held my iPhone. However, yesterday, I did experience minimal drainage and heat, and there was no excessive heat from my iPhone when using MagSafe.

As @TwoBytes and I discussed earlier, processors draw out significantly more power than ever, especially when handling multiple tasks simultaneously with numerous apps, bells and whistles in the background.

How long do you use your iPhone in any given day? Longest time the iPhone stayed at a full charge?

It completely depends on the day, usually multiple hours. I can't give any specific statistics because they all got wiped when I restored. On iOS 26 it certainly didn't stay at 100 for very long.

I’m in the same boat. I set the charge limit to 90%, and my average screen-on time is 8-10 hours a day.

Today, just an hour after waking up and unplugging my iPhone, it dropped by 10-11% of its battery.

Yesterday, my iPhone experienced the most annoying hot flashes as it struggled to cope with the heat wave. This was on beta 1. Will beta 2 address the heat issues, which aren’t related to MagSafe or wireless charging in iOS 26?
