I wouldn’t go that far. I’m seeing some pretty noticeable animation stutters and glitches on both my iPhone 16 PM and my M4 iPad Pro…I imagine it’s even more noticeable on previous gen devices. Definitely needs some more polishing.

And that's where personal perception differs. Having some visual glitches/stutters doesn't make it any less daily driver ready for me. For others, only the smoothest of versions is daily driver ready - but then a beta is likely not for you.

Surprisingly, I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and a 16 Pro Max - it runs much smoother on the 14 than the 16.

13mini

Im getting frequent drop outs / reconnects with mutiple different Bluetooth audio devices.

Was fine in beta 4

Anyone else?

on iPhone 13

especially on dark mode, my screen is always blinking. have u ever experienced this situation?

phone is getting hotter and battery is draining faster in this beta.

I get the same response with my iPhone 13 Pro. Also in CarPlay when I search for contacts or music, the Car Play display is blank as well.
I've got the same problem on a 16 Pro, and it's fairly irritating. Carplay stays blank for me on Contacts, Music, Text Messages, searching for saved locations on Waze, Amazon Prime Music, well basically just about every app I've tried.

Have tried it both wired and with a wireless dongle, as well as forgetting the car and re-connecting.

That's the only major glitch that has an effect on daily usage for me with this Beta.

I usually install the latest beta on my only iPhone (15+ at the moment) at the beginning of August - so now on beta 5. I don't know which apps or options some of you guys have on your phones but I have rarely seen any of the glitches I see reported in this forum. Not just this year - every year.
So it's largely running fine for a beta. The odd respring, but no show stoppers. CarPlay, Watch (not on beta), banking apps, MS Office, Evernote, Mail, Fantastical - I could go on - all working. All seem fine to me. I'm adjusting to the UI changes - none of them game changers. So just in case you're worried about installing iOS26b5 - I'd go ahead, but the decision is yours. Remember to back up first in case your experience is different to mine - you can always go back. A wipe and restore often cures many ills anyway.
