I wonder if we will see the RC faster than expected. The current cycle feels too long somehow. I feel like we will get the final Public release of 26.1 sometime next week.
that means we would have to get the RC this week

Or they declare b4 to be RCthat means we would have to get the RC this week
Why would it be disappointing? Apple didn’t promise the update.leaving us without 26.0.2 is extremely disappointing
Apple doesn’t promise anything but now I will be waiting potentially another 1-2 months for another update when I am already having a horribly buggy experience on my device. At least 3 resprings already in the time since iOS 26 officially launched. You would be disappointed too. All they had to do was release itWhy would it be disappointing? 26.1 is out in two weeks. Extremely. Even if RC is out next Monday, that still means 2 weeks to the release, with a buggy, battery gulping, 26.0.1leaving us without 26.0.2 is extremely disappointing
Not everyone is interested in 26.1. Regardless, even 2 weeks is a long time to leave unstable software unaddressed on what are supposed to be the most advanced “phones”/portable computers on the planet. Mere weeks after they milked how many dollars out of people for new hardware? The state of the software and the way they handle it shows it is just not a priority for them. Oh, let’s test this update, maybe we’ll release it maybe we won’t, tee-hee! What other company does this?26.1 is out in two weeks. What do you mean by 1-2 months?
