Apple to my knowledge has never released a new product, made an announcement or released a new version of software on Election Day, in fact they’ve actually given employees time off to vote in the past.

I think it has to come this week, with the Apple TV rebrand happening earlier today. Apple generally avoids major releases on a Monday, so I'm thinking tomorrow.

I've been around here long enough to recognize certain patterns. If I had to guess, the carrier updates were delayed for whatever reason, and that was holding Apple back from deploying the update.
