Not the UI, devs can opt out, which is fine. Some apps having a pretty good custom UI.does using the 26 SDK guarantee to use 26 UI? (Floating tabs/keyboard)
But at least the new keyboard will be active with the new SDK.

Most apps don’t even have Liquid Glass yet or sky news UK app doesn’t even have a dark icon after all these years, Apple should force every app to have a dark icon by nowNot the UI, devs can opt out, which is fine. Some apps having a pretty good custom UI.

Seems like no RC this week. My guess is they going to release it on Monday and release the final a few days later in the same week
Besides today not being over, did Thursday go extinct?See you all next week!
Today is not over, but highly unlikely. Tomorrow or Friday I wouldn’t consider a possibility at this stage of the beta cycle.Besides today not being over, did Thursday go extinct?
A dark icon is applied automatically by the OS. If the company/devs are fine with the result then it’s ok. Probably they don’t care that much. Most apps don’t even have Liquid Glass yet or sky news UK app doesn’t even have a dark icon after all these years, Apple should force every app to have a dark icon by now
Maybe just maybe there ain’t going to be a 26.3…. (Joking of course) 26.4 which everyone wants.26.3 is such an odd beta release.
it’s automatically applied but not in folders for some reason. If the app doesn’t have a dark icon and it’s in a folder, you’ll see the light icon until you open the folder.A dark icon is applied automatically by the OS. And with the SDK of iOS 26 it’s not mandatory to implement Liquid Glass, which is fine. Not every app needs to look the same. For me it’s just important that we have the new keyboard over all apps.
Still wondering this. Even tho people blasted me on here for suggesting itHere’s a thought: might they release the minor update today or tomorrow, and skip 26.3 and go right into 26.4 beta next? My thought on this is they are probably all hands on deck working on 26.4…
Thoughts?
At this point everything is possible, but that would be highly unlikely. That has never happened before and can’t see why Apple would suddenly ditch an update.Still wondering this. Even tho people blasted me on here for suggesting it
Sorry but that doesn't make any sense. They just released a beta last week. 26.3 is coming 1000%, we just don't know whenStill wondering this. Even tho people blasted me on here for suggesting it

I can’t remember where I read it, I’ll need to go digging, but apparently a lot of the behind the scenes work for “new Siri” are in this update. What is the point of this, considering iOS 26.3 is a “minor update” anyway?

I’m guessing 26.3 has some of the same issues as 26.2.1. That could explain the longer wait. With 26.2.1 being reported as a **** show by national media, I was really expecting them to accelerate 26.3. Which, I haven't had any of the reported issues myself, but if I did I'd be calling Apple daily!!
