Not the UI, devs can opt out, which is fine. Some apps having a pretty good custom UI.
But at least the new keyboard will be active with the new SDK.
Most apps don’t even have Liquid Glass yet or sky news UK app doesn’t even have a dark icon after all these years, Apple should force every app to have a dark icon by now

A dark icon is applied automatically by the OS. If the company/devs are fine with the result then it’s ok. Probably they don’t care that much.
And with the SDK of iOS 26 it’s not mandatory to implement Liquid Glass, which is fine. Not every app needs to look the same. For me it’s just important that we have the new keyboard over all apps.

it’s automatically applied but not in folders for some reason. If the app doesn’t have a dark icon and it’s in a folder, you’ll see the light icon until you open the folder.

Here’s a thought: might they release the minor update today or tomorrow, and skip 26.3 and go right into 26.4 beta next? My thought on this is they are probably all hands on deck working on 26.4…
Thoughts?
Still wondering this. Even tho people blasted me on here for suggesting it

With 26.2.1 being reported as a **** show by national media, I was really expecting them to accelerate 26.3. Which, I haven't had any of the reported issues myself, but if I did I'd be calling Apple daily!!
