That’s how it looks here (b6, 16PM) … I think the tinting is working to highlight the active sheet and looks pretty glassy… don’t get what’s wrong

Same here, I’m pretty sure this is intended behavior. 👍🏻

PS an example of a similar tinted button in the Photos app on Apple’s official iOS 26 preview page. I think this proves that it’s expected behavior, unless I’m missing something.

Oh yes intended design - I just mean its one part of LG that I have trouble reading and I feel like a tinted background would work much better. I guess I keep expecting them to tweakit somehow to be a little clearer or something.

The colour picked by each app also matters, some colours are much harder to pick out.

Yeah, I just installed the iOS 26 DB 6 on my iPhone (everything I need (particularly my banking app) for my phone works on this beta, so I hopped on with my iPhone now for the first time as well). The install took about 14 minutes. And I even saved a native backup for my iPhone on my Mac, that just took 5. So total, including a redundant local backup (have automatic cloud backups as well) took only 19 minutes! 👍🏻. I’m really enjoying having the beta on my iPhone 12 now, I really like the design changes. I’m excited for the public release this fall. 👍🏻

I’m guessing it will have it when it rolls out to the public in September. 👍🏻
Apple says that it will release iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1 later today to introduce a “redesigned Blood Oxygen feature” for Apple Watch users in the United States. The company says the update will be available for Apple Watch Series 10, Series 9, and Ultra 2 users in the U.S. who don’t have the original Blood Oxygen feature.

could this be the reason for the delay of the Public Beta, could we see a new build including that for iOS 26 ?
Just speculating

It’s a possibility, yet I find it quite odd.
People in the US did not have this feature for months, so could probably wait until Monday? Or perhaps I am underestimating the importance of this function. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If we get a new iOS 26 DB6 build today, they would need to push PB right after it, as we should be getting DB7 early next week.

if the push out a 18.6.1 it might well have a high level of importance

A third public beta with a revised developer beta tomorrow wouldn't shock me. I don't think they'll release it today though.
Well I am glad to be wrong, lol. Rare that they put out a public release, a public beta, and developer beta all at the same time.

Interesting that there's no updated watchOS beta yet. Maybe that's not necessary?

They've released the public beta and developer beta review for iOS 26, along with new releases for iOS 18 and other stable operating systems. Apple has really hit the update button today haha
