You can still inspect the real-time completeness using the Console app on a Mac. Connect your iPhone to a Mac and open the Console app on your Mac. In the sidebar, select your iPhone, start the log streaming, and type fetchPipelineCompleteness in the search bar. Quit and re-open the Settings app on your iPhone. You should see the following message:

Code:
fetchPipelineCompleteness: display=... days=... percent=…

The percentage is in decimal form, i.e. percent=0.90 means 90% done.

It started showing. I don’t have a Mac yet. Thanks for the advice though

But your upload is abysmal?!?

Oh, and one more thing, where is the public beta?
Upload on ANY carrier is abysmal - it’s simply a physics issue. Your phone is not capable of providing a strong enough uplink signal to a tower when it’s more then 500ft away.

Here are the median upload speed stats for the 3 major carriers in the US:

And here is my personal highest recorded upload speed, achieved on DB 2, with a giant cell tower in sight and 0 obstructions between:

Expecting more than 20-40mbps for upload speeds is irrational, and those speeds are not the fault of iOS 27 or this beta in general.

New issues:

iPhone Air - when launching an app from App Manager, getting infrequent pauses for 3-4 seconds before anything actually happens. No specific app but has occurred more frequently on apps that I need to log into like banking. New to this beta. Not seeing this on my iPad.

iPad Pro 11 M4 - have had YouTube (2x) and Prime Video (1x) both crash mid playing of a video. No warning, it just died. Has not occurred on the iPhone.

On my iPhone 14 I get 500 down and 100 up. Exactly those numbers. On an iPhone 17 much higher depending on location.

Anyone else on a Verizon MVNO seeing a “Carrier Settings Update Available” message pop up when opening the About page that doesn’t actually update the carrier settings?

It pops up every time, and each time I hit “Update,” but nothing happens. I’m at Verizon 71.5.1

If it makes you feel better I've had several wireless CarPlay dropouts with B4.

I know I am not alone 😋, but I have noticed that my CarPlay dropouts got progressively worse as betas advanced. DB3 was the worst so far, so DB4 seemed better in comparison, but still bugged in that department. I have reinstalled DB4 now with IPSW, so will see if it helps. 🤞

Have you removed the iPhone from your vehicle's CarPlay list and vice-versa, then started over?

Keyboard still flickers for a second whenever Control Center is dismissed with keyboard showing. Happens everywhere throughout iOS.

Yes, I've had this since 26.0 and reported. They never fixed it and it's extremely annoying. Maybe if more people have this now they will give it more attention.

Do you know how to reinstall using an ipsw? I tried doing it but every time I do so on my M1 Pro mac running Golden Gate, it just says the OS isn’t a valid OS.

Background sounds have stopped working for me in beta 4. I know they were working on all previous beta as I use this daily. Would anyone here be kind and check in their device if it’s not working for you either?
Id appreciate it!!
Temporary (?) Workaround (for me, 17P): in Background Settings, toggle on “Use When Media Playing”.
