I believe only 3 releases have ever been made on a Saturday. It's the rarest of all the business working days. It's probably gonna be Monday or Tuesday. I would assume they needed the extra week ahead of the weekly beta releases beginning to put the 26.6/26.6.1 fixes into the beta releases.
We are heading into weekly betas now, most of the time the .6 or .7 release for the last OS comes before the weekly beta cycle begins. I think that is the reason for the extra week to get these fixes in for beta 5 because now is the final 4-5 weeks... Beta 5 is normally 98% of the time, the fix beta where all the reports and new OS fixes start appearing. And then beta 6/7/8 the following weeks are just refinements ahead of the RC is about 4/5 weeks from now...
