This beta has been so awesome for me that I’m not dying for a DB6 like I was DB5 🌞

I hope they fix the bug with the overlay bar in messages with Pinned contacts. That’s been annoying since DB5 came out

Oh yes that’s so annoying! What tends to work for me is swiping to a different page on the Home Screen and trying again.

This beta has been the worst of the iOS 27 betas for me on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Maybe ¼ of the time, I'm unable to swipe up out of whatever app I'm in, I'm having to lock my screen and then unlock so I can swipe home again. This "Swipe up" issue seems to happen a LOT.. I'm also seeing an issue with the Messages app with a long extra block border at the top, covering up about half of my top row of contacts. I'm having to tap their name to get into their messages.. Pretty annoying. And yes, I've rebooted my iPhone.
TBH, the last beta ran much smoother for me. Can't wait for the next update.

I know it has been kinda covered, but last night I was thinking.
RE: The brief appearance on the developer portal of it being named as Beta 6. My theory is there was a Beta 5 , that was supposed to be released after two weeks, then weekly. We did actually get Beta 6 (two weeks between 4 & 5, and one week between 5 & 6) but they just skipped Beta 5 all together for whatever reason.
