If you restore from the iCloud and not from a iTunes backup will it improve the battery life. Yes it will take hours to download all the apps if you have many but you are not restoring from iTunes. Just sync with iTunes for your own music and videos.

Really?

Explain two things if you wouldn't mind...
- why the difference between restoring from iTunes or iCloud?
- how do you "know" this? What testing have you done to arrive at such a conclusion?

Needless to say, I'm skeptical.
