Click to expand... It wasnt like that with previous updates. You're supposed to be able to get this done without tinkering around imo.

A ah123 macrumors regular Jul 5, 2011 244 0 Mar 12, 2012 #28 I tried many, many times over a few days and after continuing to get the error, resorted to downloading the full ~800MB from iTunes and updating from there. I'm on TalkTalk, by the way - don't know if that makes a difference!
