iOS 7 Beta 1: Bugs and Problems

Anyone else having an issue with getting message alerts when DND is on?

Phone calls seem to alert but messages do not.
 
Whenever I open a folder and immediately press the home button to exit the folder, the home screen disappears and doesn't come back until I reboot the phone.

Is it me or is Podcasts missing from the Music app? It used to be located under the 'More' tab but it is no longer there. My iTunes still shows my Podcasts loaded on the phone but I can't find them.

Am I missing something obvious?

edit: Ok I found the files using the search function that is now accessed by pulling down on the home screen from the middle. I am able to play them in the music app accessing them that way, but there is still no Podcast menu option.

It was removed from the music player in iOS 6, you have to use the separate Podcasts app that is now crashing in iOS 7.
 
I have my work Exchange and my Google account both set to manual refreshing. On iOS 6 and before this means that if you open the mail, calendar or contacts app, that only then new items would be downloaded.

On iOS 7 this functionality still works the same, as mail updates immediately when I open the mail app. But I just can't get my calendar to download new items. The only work around is to add a new item and delete it, which forces the calendar to update it. Does anyone else have this problem too or another way to refresh?

Bug when dragging an item in your Notification Center. Go back to Setting to revert it back to normal.

1) Can't take a screenshot. It just turns the display off and then back on.

2) If you start the app switcher when in landscape mode, the app icons are in the correct orientation, but not the preview windows. Awesome that they have this planned though.

Noticed the app switcher problem.
It keeps my homepage in landscape but doesn't rotate the icons? New feature maybe? Landscape homescreen???

When addressing a text message notification, the Messages app doesn't update the current thread, to remedy you have to back out to conversations list and go back into the thread.

Yes there is lag.
My messages update but it doesn't show the new message you have to scroll and it will appear. I like how it used to go straight to the new message.
 
is it just me or do pics not go through on text? they go but the other person is not getting them happened on imessage yesterday too and said delivered
 
So far, the only app that I can't get to work correctly is Photobucket. It crashes whenever I try to log in to upload an image. In connection to that, I can't use Imgur on Safari or Chrome to upload images via browser. It says it is not supported but it used to work on iOS 6. But that's not really an app per se.
 
TomTom for iPhone on iOS7

Guys,

Any of you tried running TomTom on iPhone 5? In the process of updating to the beta but need to make sure this app runs - use it a lot for work.

If anyone could let me know that would be great.

dont know if its been posted before, but i cant join my university wlan.
After i login, i have to accept a certificate, but nothing happens when i click on accept.
 
The Camera takes photos too damn fast or either they have to add some kind of one second delay animation. I can see it now, when asking someone to capture photo of you and they're unfamiliar with iOS, be prepared to have 10 photos in a matter of seconds
 
Oddly this resolved itself. The chain of events may have been coincidental.
  1. ran speedtest#1--0.2mbps down
  2. Activated wifi.
  3. Started itunes radio
  4. ran speedtest#2 --wifi speeds
  5. disable wifi
  6. normal load website speeds
  7. itunes radio continues to stream
  8. speedtest#3 - 2.2mbps -- normal

This will probably make me restore to ios 6 till the first patch is pushed.

Tom Tom works on my iphone 5 and ios 7.
 
Podcast app isn't working for me, tried opening the podcast in music through spotlight as well no joy, not really noticed many problems, nothing major anyway
 
Messages in a a conversation don't slide up all the way so you have to manually slide them up to see the "Delivered" or "Read" text under them.
