The reported increased signal bars since the last beta seem to be a big because in field test it only reports -96 which should normally be around three bars.

Referring to the "slide to unlock" text being more "colorful", it now takes on an "overlay" color filter effect of whatever color it's sitting on top of rather than straight black/white text. If you don't have a colorful background on your lockscreen you probably won't notice the effect.

Music in the lockscreen on the 4S looks much better.

Do they still now show up right away when the lock screen wakes up--when you just press the home or lock button or when a notification comes in, or is it hopefully back to requiring a double press of the home button?

You're right! App Store and iTunes Store look better. Safari is beyond redemption, but they did tweak it a bit.

I wish they'd go back to slim font for the main UI. It was so much cleaner. Really liking beta 4 overall though. Phone works now!! and my battery life appears better already.

You can change it back to how it was previously, go to mail,contacts,calendars and scroll down until you see short name and turn it off. No big. Weird that the update enabled it.

Plus, is it me or is the "swipe to unlock" off-centered?
