Photos does nothing compared to iPhoto 🙁
They could have just given the option to redownload iPhoto, then only the people who really wanted it would have got it.

....I'm still, unfortunately, not getting the iCloud Photo Library option on my iPhone 6 iOS 8.0.2 here in the UK? 🙁
Anyone else in the UK have this option on their phones?
8.1 is bringing better battery life for me. This is after unplugging it last night and driving to work (about 30 minutes) streaming music through Bluetooth.
Can someone check to see if TV show episodes that you've ripped and synced yourself now show a thumbnail/artwork again, like they did is iOS 7?
In 8.0 and 8.0.2, the TV show itself shows the artwork, but they individual episodes just have a generic grey icon.

So far, great battery life on my iPhone 6. The OS is smooth and almost feels like a GM release. From the diagnostic logs, not much is showing up other than the Jetsam, the stacks+backboardd has not shown up yet. Usually I'll get the stacks log to show up 30 times a day.
Can anyone who has installed the 8.1 beta, that was having wifi issues, i.e. slow wifi, wifi dropping, reconnection issues etc, confirm that the issues are better or gone in the newest update? Thanks in advance.
Can someone check if photo events synched from iPhoto or Aperture are still randomly ordered in the photos app?
I have a dual band router and my 6+ will not work on 2.4Ghz. It sees it, connects to it, but no real throughput. It worked on 8.0, not on 8.0.2 and not on 8.1 beta 1. Also my battery life on 8.1 is awful. Just listening to podcast for an hour, not streaming, and my phone is at 72%. rhis is with "set up as new phone". Going to restore tonight and load by back up.

I was concerned that my 6 was getting bad battery life. Brand new phone, set up as new and today I'm currently on 25% left and about 3 and half/4 hours usage and about 9 hours standby time. That is definitely not right. I have no emails set up, background refresh is off. But I'm getting too many JetsamEvents and was told its similar to low memory. If true, then HOW!? How is that even possible. My 5c never had this many logs. If I'm honest, I must have about 30 of these and most of them say the largest is mediaserverd. Also a log I'm getting is "seld" which I worked out to be that whenever I switch between wifi and cellular, it crashes, with exception EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT), and there is easily 50 of them. Something isn't right and I hope 8.1 solves at least 80% of the bugs in iOS 8, which shouldn't be hard considering theres so many problems with it.
I see that it says safari is snappier? Is it back to 7.1.2 quality? I miss that so much I my 5.
Also is there still a half second to second hesitation before a app will spring open after you tap it? I never had this problem until ios 8. It seems to only be doing it to third party apps that aren't already opened in the background. Check for yourselves. All the stock apps spring open instantly. Gotta be a bug. This is on my iPhone 5 and happened on my iPad 4 as well. I downgraded it but I missed out on my 5 🙁

I enabled iCloud Photo Library and I've seen where numerous people are having to turn off cellular data and switch it to wifi, well I only have cellular data access and it tells me I need wifi to finish uploading. I don't have the option to use cellular data with iCloud Photo Library on the beta. I do have cellular data enabled for photos but it tells me I need wifi to use iPL. Did they remove the ability to use cellular?
That is because it is set by the carrier file. And it is not available on your carrier.
