Objective C seems very confusing to me. Lots of unfriendly syntax
When you actually start using it most of it is actually very intuitive. For me it's even more intuitive than Swift. It's verbose, unlike Swift, but that's good because you know exactly what it is doing. For example, UICollectionViewControllerDelegate. It's extremely easy to know what it does just by looking at the name.

Bingo! GreyMatta, you figured it out! That totally makes sense!

Meanwhile, do I start with iOS 7 or iOS 8? THAT is now the question!
Do the iOS 7 course start to finish first. Most of the libraries are still in Objective-C and will be for a long time to come. Same with third party libraries. And Swift is easy to learn when you know Objective-C.
