I have been looking for a text based launcher. Pin is made to be used with whatever's on the clipboard, but it works well for shortcuts too. :D

BeWeather 2 is nice. You can use custom iconsets. It's basically Weather Underground on steroids.

I came across your post while i was looking for a weather widget that dont need GPS\location service on all the time.
Its nice app\widget, give me all the info i need without taking much screen space, the only problem im having - i cant find my town, while in other apps it shows up...

Wish i could use the build-in weather app as widget...

Thanks for keeping this thread updated with new apps.
I tried Copied - it's similar to Clips app, very handy
just sharing my experience with these 2 apps:

Clips: -
Pros:
provides multiple ways to copy-paste- notification widget, share extension and keyboard- you can insert copied clips and also type.
Cons: doesn't properly paste an image into Notes app. I tried copying an image from Safari and then inserting into Notes using share extension, but it only inserted a thumbnail with link to webpage not the image itself. Please let me know if there is a better way for copy-pasting images.

Copied:-
Pros:
Inserting copied images from safari into Notes works as expected and it actually inserts the copied image not just a thumbnail with link.
More gesture driven interface with swipes to copy instead of just a tap - but it's a personal preference. You can organize clipboard into lists but it's a paid feature.

Cons: I think this is big downside- keyboard can only insert copied text but no way of typing - so you need to switch to standard keyboard for typing again.

@gaanee Are you sending it to the Notes app, or just Clips? Makes sense just to send it straight to Notes, no?

Nintype added copy and paste in the last update, so I've been using that ever since. Doesn't work with images of course, but then it's easy enough to append with an extension.

@Jessica Lares I first copy the image in Safari then it shows up in Clips and Copied widget. Open Clips and Copied app -> share extension -> Send to Notes.
How would you copy an image in Safari (by log pressing) and send it directly to Notes?

Finally some good alternatives for snow/mountain webcam widget besides the difficult way of using Photo of the Day and creating an RSS feed or using Glimpse:

-AlpenCams | 0,99 dollar | snow webcams

LCCBfza.png

-Winterberg Webcams | 0,99 dollar

-FeldBerg Webcams | 0,99 dollar

It's by a Dutch developer i'm also in contact with him on a Dutch wintersports forum.
I already put a long wish list there to add to a future version. But it's a nice start.

I'm also expecting that another webcam widget (formerly only in Cydia store) will soon become available in the App Store too.

KuaiBoard is an extremely useful app with a keyboard and clip widget. When you copy a link, for example, it shows in the widget. Tap it and it is added to the Keyboard as a shortcut sort of thing. I use this a lot on the forums.
The widget:

Apple doesn't allow accessing Settings directly. The closest thing is creating a shortcut to Mobile Data using Launcher widget which will take you to the Settings app and you still have to manually toggle it.

Is there any widget to toggle mobile data?

Weblock has been updated and added a widget for easy activation or deactivation of the filters.
Yeah but the most important functionality is still missing: Blocking content on cellular connections. That will save your dataplan.

I've wondered about those. Worth the price?
I like it. But I got it free from somewhere. But, yeah, it's worth $1.99 unless you're on a tight budget. I've seen many other apps not as good for the price. It'll most likely go on sale again soon. I think I spotted the sale offer in AppShopper. I use that a lot.

Some widgets it has.
