It's indexing. There will be lag and poor battery life until it's done.

Performance is much better now on my 6 Plus after indexing finished
How long did that take it to finish?
Also sorry but indexing? What does that mean? Stupid question I know

Handoff seems to be missing from the new task switcher. And from the lock screen.

I didn't see my fitness apps as sources in Health, though I re-installed and granted permission, however they still weren't there.

Seriously? The A8 in the iPhone 6 is definitely more powerful than the A7. Both the CPU and especially the GPU of the A8 outperform their counterparts in the A7. Take some time to research things before you jump to conclusions. Of course, calling perfectly functional hardware "sh***y" makes me wonder if you should even be using iOS devices in the first place.
You're kidding, right? Iphone 5s scores in geekbench 1400 and 2500 while the 6 scores 1600 and 2900. That's not that big of a difference, mean while, the 5s scores double than the iphone 5. Plus, the 5s and the 6 work the same on ios 8, IDENTICAL. And btw, I use betas since ios 4 so I have a slight idea about how ios works or should. Meanwhile, 4 year old nokia phones run their last OS with no lag what so ever.

It means that your device is going through all of your data and creating lists and caches of your content for quick access. Spotlight for instance doesn't actually search your device in realtime, it only searches through the much smaller indexes.

Geekbench scores don't tell the whole story. GPU performance plays a large role in UI responsiveness in iOS, and Geekbench doesn't take that into account. And who knows what change was made in iOS 9's code that causes the Control Center to benefit from the iPhone 6's extra power that wasn't necessary in iOS 8. But again, it's still the first beta. It may be fixed, it may not be. It's too early to tell. And if you're going to compare the final version of one OS to a beta version of an entirely different OS, you should probably just use the Nokia phone you speak of.
