Found my first bug within 2 mins of using. :)

Anyone else getting "UPDATE_CELL_WHATSNEW" under app updates in the App Store app?

I am installing it on my iPad Air 2. Do you guys who are using it recommend against installing it on phone right now?

Can someone once and for all clear this up for me? Is Proactive Siri activated on the iPod Touch 5g or not? In other words, does the iPod Touch get the swipe to the left gesture to bring up the context sensitive search results?

While testing, this red bar (usually signifying background activity) stayed on all of the screens until I restarted the device,

Anyone else get this?

It is not available on my iPod Touch 5 with iOS 9 beta 1.

Nope. I don't believe it's on A5 devices.

So guys after 24h i can say battery life improved with the disabled search and like expected it was not the holy grail. Its better but its still to worse to keep iOS 9 on my device.

Currently i lose around 7-8% battery per hour with search disabled and doing really less.
Before i disabled the search i lost like 13-14% per hour.

Back to 8.4 Beta 4 - Coming back with beta2 :D

+1 to this. Even disabling it, it drains too fast. Sadly, I can't go back to 8.4, since I also updated my watch to OS2, and doing it would leave my watch useless (it needs iOS9 in the iPhone)

Stuck on beta 1 also unless I want to do a clean 8.4 beta 4 install. Lost my 8.x backup for some reason...

Oh well. The 6 Plus has a big battery atleast :)

I'm using on my iPad Air 2, runs extremely well - not having a battery drain issue. Had it on my iPhone 6 but went back to 8.4 beta 4, because of the battery drain. Best waiting for beta 2 for iPhone.

I've noticed the entire OS freezes occasionally and is not responsive to touch or button presses. Only solution is Home + Power for 10 seconds to force a reboot.

I added this to the bug list.

Instant Hotspot stopped working altogether for me. Did the whole reset, log in and out of iCloud, network setting etc. procedure to no avail. I'm also running the El Cap DP.
The Personal Hotspot bar obscures view of the top of some apps, and others don't format properly with the bar active.
iPhone stays connected to home WiFi even though in Personal Hotspot mode.

This is a setup bug. I just tried installing the first iOS 9 beta on my iPad Air 2. Setup was going smoothly logging into iCloud, my separate iTunes app store account, etc. Then it hung on sending the text message two-step code. After waiting for five minutes I decided to lock the iPad and try again. This locked up the iPad and wouldn't let me swipe to unlock (it would swipe but not do anything). So I locked it again and it wouldn't turn back on. So I had to reboot and go through setup all over again. Now it's restoring the settings from iCloud and I'm crossing my fingers that it goes smoothly!

To be expected seen as the app is unlikely to be opt used until public release, But I have no imagery in the Apple store App. Just a heads up as this may be a factor in more apps.

Hello all-new to the forums. Wanted to share my experiences with the above posted issues with iOS 9 beta 1.

Currently running it on a Sprint 128 GB iPhone 6 Space Grey

-Battery Life Issues (Long Charging time short battery life)
-Freezing/unresponsiveness
-Messages app(Typed responses disappear from thread until you exit out and go back to messages)
-Messages Keyboard disappears while texting
-Device freezes during camera use or recording
-Delay using spotlight
-Apple ID repetitively prompted for sign in while downloading or restoring Apps

Any advice or feedback or if anyone can relate that would be awesome! I didn't really see any complaints with the messages app can anyone else confirm? Thanks :)
