found a new feature:
I clicked on one of the links from google safari and it redirected me to guardian! then there's a forward button that allows me to head back to safari with the webpage opened, and not back to google! this is amazing. not sure if it works for YouTube urls.

Every developer can enable this server-side if they want to.

In some media players it seems that slide over doesn't pause the video, which is sweet.
For example YouTube will pause the video whereas the UFC app does not pause when using slide over. Obviously the latter is much better and I wonder if developers have a choice or if it's just a beta thing.

This is definitely the developer's choice. Many video apps have the ability to play the video in background when locked/closed.

Has anyone been having issues with:

  • Camera app - I've tried recording videos but clicking the record button does not do anything - recording does not start. Have to reboot the device to record - annoying when you want to record something quickly.
  • Music app - This morning I tried to play music stored locally on my 6 Plus, but the play button freezes up and does not play at all. Had to reboot twice to finally get the Music app to play my music.
In general, Beta 4 seems more buggier than the previous release with freezes and unresponsiveness more common, anyone else feel the same?

I have been able to make videos fine but several of my photos have turned 90 degrees from the orientation I took them in. Music has been fine too with the exception that half the time I select to add a song to a playlist it doesn't. It says it does but it doesn't. Overall, I find this version to be buggy too but stick with it because I really like many of the new features.

Definitely more buggy.

Ugh -- Bluetooth connection to my car keeps dropping and rejoining over and over -- really annoying as I'm almost always either on a call or streaming  Music. I've tried deleting and reassociating but that hasn't helped.

I have had this issue since owning my 6+. The only way I have been able to maintain a connection to the car for calls is to turn off wifi prior to the call or at the start. Whatever the reason, it works. The only version that did not drop was either 8.4 or an early beta of 9, I can't recall but there was a short period of time about 6 weeks ago that for two weeks I could leave wifi on. It was great. Try it and see what you get.
